The airbase is also home to the Combat Commanders School (CCS), formerly the Fighter Leader's School. This is the only Airbase in Pakistan which has all kinds of Aircrafts Parked there, like F-16, JF-17,Mirage 3 & 5, F-7P/G, C-130, IL-78, etc it has Kirana Hill's Which is famous because Pakistan has it's Nuclear Stockpile and missile Launchers there, and on top of the peak it has Long Range Radar, Sargodha Airbase and Kirana hills both are inter connect. it's known as Citrus City of Pakistan.
