I have been in business for awhile but sales aren't what they should be. Now that I have watched this, I know exactly why. I have to smile more and approach people like I am glad to be addressing them. Thanks for this!
The gesture done at 1:09, where you open your hands, lean back and smile, completely wins over my heart. I am definitely going to use this as I go door knocking! Thank you, Mr. Tracy.
Hello Brian. Thanks for sharing this video. I’m glad that you’re feeling better. Great tie! Your tips on body language and communication have helped open soo many doors for me in the last year that I would need a book to tell all of the stories. I use to dress like I fell off a watermelon truck until you taught me how to dress like a Billionaire. Don’t fake it till I make it, fake it until you become it. Also, you cured me of my problem of cutting people off when they were speaking. Every time I go to speak someone, your voice is like an angel in my head reminding me to “pause before replying.” 99% of the time I count to 3 after someone speaks to ensure that it’s my turn to talk. Great video and thanks again.
Hai sir, This is Deepan,India I m 23yrs old I am growing step by step for last 5year with your help by (Change your thinking change your,Tamil language book) Thank you so much sir for your each and every motivate in book & video Take care.....
Mr. Tracy, I've followed you for some time. You are amazing. A life well lived. Thanks for all your insightful wisdom and helpful advice. God bless you.
I love this. The smiling and nodding is great, I always train my sales guys this. Leaning forward, and listen. Be genuine and out comes their checkbook.
Lol i remember smiling at someone while selling him a product, he was looking at me like i was a maniac 🗿 Most of the time i felt like people was looking at me in a weird, angry manner but then i found out, that i was the cause of that, i didn't smile or look at them in a welcome manner, and i was a perfectionist too, i thought that i always had to look great or feel great lately i realized that no one's perfect and i don't need to be, practice makes everything better, i thought a mistake would only be corrected if i abort all the progresses. Thank God I'm becoming better and better, and you're one of the reasons, i really enjoy your videos since i changed my mindset Nothings perfect neither are we human beings. And you were right about affirmation the more you compliment yourself, the better you feel, the more you resent, complain about yourself, the worse you feel Usually all the negative ideas come up to the mind, without even thinking about it The only solution to this, is simply let it go Just don't care. distract yourself let your mind in the background solve this It's just I've learned many things lately so i just wanted to process it better by commenting
Thanks Brian I Practicing for an Job Interview ( Engineer) I will used all your tips, I Already have a suit like yours and I am practicing daily, You are very direct & professional in all your videos. Thanks again.. Joseph
Smiling is almost painful for me, it makes me feel defenseless. When I was in the Army, you weren't allowed to smile. Transitioning is incredibly difficult, but Brian is absolutely right. I need to practice my smile! I have been smiling at myself in the mirror every day and even while driving my car. I'm sure onlookers feel I must be some kind of crazy person!
THeres a lot of truth in fake it till you make it. Just the act of smiling if for no reason has been proven to increase our happiness levels. Let them think your crazy. Actual happy people will get it and or not judge you for allowing yourself one the simple pleasures
Great, Humble, very professional and informative coach. I have seen many of your amazing videos! Thanks Brian for all the videos and hard work! Hope to see more of your updated videos for new salesmen regardless of their selling products, but just sales.
The tips were grate, I plan to use them on the daily basis, after having my business for almost one year I plan to take it to the next level and I find these tips grate to help me grow as a small business owner. Thanks.
HI, lived my life in sales in Asian Subcontinent. Recently moved to Canada and started my career in sales. Having cultural differences and intent to learn new organizational culture, i remained relatively silent for first couple of days and management developed an understanding that i am shy and i am really worried about that. Went through your videos and learnt the good sales practices in Canadian/American culture. thanks
I am reading"Eat That Frog" and starting to use the advice in it - to deal with my weakest area I will ask more questions. That is something I think is holding me back from being successful at sales the most.
it was very good video and lesson to learn for sales people, open you arms is very important in sales situation , avoid close your arms when you are talking with somebody . the second one was to smile. smile was very important to let other people to trust you and belive you sime is very important and cost no money but it was the most expensive thing in this world to drive your sucesses. the third one was to have very previssional impression ,your dress and your looking and whatever you are achieving is coming from own actions .,
Good video. I used to be in sales and came across this looking for ways to help my kids with their first candy fundraiser sale. It reminded me to dress and groom them as neatly as possible before heading out, even though it means getting up super early. It is important, and I want them to succeed. Thanks.
Great video for myself, my first day in Sales is in two days. I'm really look forward to the new career, and I cannot stop watching +Brian Tracy video!
Body language is really working in sales meetings and I use all possible technique and recommend to all sales managers to learn more about body language.
thanks brian tracy i like this video . its not the words you use , its body language and tonality which means to me its all about confidence to make a sale rather than the words that you use .
It is so interesting, that I know so many things about communication and body language and continue learning more and more, but when it comes to actually use it I often forget to use the most of it. Probably, experience is very important, to form a habit or just to feel what is like to actually use it in person. :) Meaning the practicing part you mention might be the factor standing between being a good communicator or being a great communicator. So my answer to your question/task is - I'm going to use/do the holding hands(prolonged) and eye contact combination, the one you mentioned in the video. :) It is very powerful one. p.s. I'm fascinated or better to say inspired and empowered by seeing you so motivated, fill with energy and with that big smile, sharing your time and knowledge with others. :) Thank You, Brian! :)
Hi Brian, Always love your material and the way you present it. I'm always learning something. I personally wouldn't put the words bum and homeless in the example you shared. Homeless does not equal lazy etc. so a negative illustration to your point. Homeless is not always a choice, but being a bum is. Cheers
Sir Brian thank you very much. Almost whole day I'am watching your videos - so inspired...After years in VW and BMW I'am going now to Audi...new challenge for me...
Thanks for sharing your experience I like all your videos and how you explain everything to us 😊. You're my best seller in the world my number 1 seller. Thanks everytime.
Most of the time we are not aware of these problems until we are told, or if you see/ hear yourself on video. One thing to bear in mind is you never want to beocome to self conscious as this effects your natural flow too much. I found this when i went to toastmasters and I actually started becoming paranoid of how others heard and perceived me, and this really started to affect my confidenec, so being yourself and not too effected is very important. Good tips thanks
Excellent, Great Lesson!!! Thank you Brian!!! Even though body language is a natural habit of everyone and for a fact as I see children they use body language to show their agreements, dislikes, happiness .....ETC. But for those who don't use mostly body language, they should use and learn how to use it on each occasion and circumstances.
Hi, I've watched plenty of self help videos but not many captivate me the way you do, Mr Brian Tracy. Your eloquence is of great quality andi love listening to you. Thanks
Hi Brian, This is excellent information. I now know on of the reasons why i do so well in my business. I have been practicing everything you explained all along, I picked them up one by one oer the years but i never thought of it. Knowing it makes a difference. Thank you. Kissima

I’ve always given firm handshakes. It’s what I was taught growing up but it was also kind of second nature to me. Look someone in the eye, smile, & give a firm handshake.
Hi, Mr. Brian! Thank you very much for these excellent advices. Suitable to use. Your tips for success are always very accurate. Just wanted to share this thought to you. Have a good one!
Dear Mr . Tracy: Great advice!!! I will contact your organization for an update on your current seminars. I took in 1994 a seminar of yours called " The Psycological Sale" in Mexico City. Is there an update of that seminar currently? This has been the best sales course I have taken.
Great video thank you, every word was very valuable, this will help me be intentional about my behaviour so I can get the results that I aim for, the wet fish hand yea as a woman I gave lots and what u said made me understand what the other person feels from that simple action. Thanks alot
Taking in consideration that most of the HR managers decides hire people in less than 30 sec. it's critical to show good body language as well as good dressing
