    Mine is in the shipping process and I can't wait!
    BangGood was sold out, Tmart was over priced but AliExpress had 1 for $84 w/ free shipping, I got it. Now they too are sold out. I've yet to find a shipment from US or any of the v912 brushless on eEay or Amazon, yet.

    Diff.variations of brushless v912 . One of mines factory brushless came with the board seperate from battery ( a breeze batt.swap after 20 min.cooldown) the other brushless has them both batt.& board zip tied together , and no ON-OFF switch on the left side

    Just a quick question that you might not be able to answer...... I just purchased this V912 from Banggood but it came without the transmitter. Would you have any thoughts as to how one would bind this to a different transmitter other than the one provided by WLToys? The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired but I am stuck here. Thanks for any light you might be able to shed on this problem!

    I have a question, which cable should be used to charge the helicopter, the one you plugged in to the helicopter in 6:24 or the one which ends with the white plastic input?
    Thank you, great video.

      Ido Kuttner The white plug is the "balance plug" which will plug into the charger.

    Dang WL toys for not making that tail motor brushless as well. I've already replaced the tail motor at least 3 times on my V912.. May have to look at the Blade 200SR x instead.

    • @damienchamblee6187
      @damienchamblee6187 10 лет назад

      I know man!
      I can do it in my sleep now. I guess they did not due to cost, as another brushless would require a new ESC and TX, pushing the retail cost over $100 (from over seas) and far more than that in once sold here in the States.
      BNF would be worth it but the RTF would cost more than what I think is WL's price point.

      Fly it in minus at the moment, ice cold wheather so hopefully some cooling on the tail, most rc planeflying here but fun to fly this one.How long do it,s main and tailmotor usually last?

  • @andrewrichey7374
    @andrewrichey7374 10 лет назад

    I crashed lightly the tail rotor hit first nothing broke all the rotor gears are fine.But i only have right rudder.The only time the tail rotor spins is when i give it right rudder ,other than that i have nothing.Any ideas of what is wrong.

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад

      Odd, I would disassemble the tail and have the motor sitting by itself with no plastics on it and see if it will spin up then. Also look for damage to the motor casing as the slightest dent to it can cause it to stop working entirely.

    you own the brushed version as well, how much difference is there in performance? i have a v912 on order and im sure its the brushed version, do you think its worth spending the money and upgrading the motor esc and receiver and going brushless?
    thanks, steve.

    I have a question... If I ever need to change the main brushless motor, what's going on with the pinion ? Banggood sells these without the pinion, how do i attach it to the shaft? I was just wondering cause I am getting one and it's coming this week. Thanks a lot

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад

      Most of the time they're friction fit. Meaning the clearance is so close that you'll need to heat the pinion up and lightly use a flat tip screw driver to remove it. Do this over a flat surface like a garage floor, or in a vice if you have access to one. From there mounting it to the motor you will heat the pinion again and cool the shaft it is mounting to. Do not use a hammer, a rubber mallet if you have one and lightly tap it on to the new motor. Search youtube, I'm sure someone has done a how to on this, and may have found a better way.

    I have tail drift after every time I go fly, then I ALWAYS have to give 3-4 trim clicks to the right , is there a fix for this problem?

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  8 лет назад

      Check to make sure the control board is secure and not loose. Also check your tail blade, it may be damaged and need to be replaced.

  • @Swifty_OneX

    What is the difference between brushed and brushless?

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад

      Basically Brushed motors have brushes in them that slowly degrade and the motor will fail and need to be replaced, where the Brushless motor does not have brushes and will last ages longer and have more power.

    So would you recommend the brushless version over the normal version for someone who has wanted to fly a Heli since I was I kid just never got round to it.
    Had a few coaxial ones but nowt special
    Is it ok in light winds?😄😄👍

    • @SasquatchPNW

      Yes, highly recommend over the brushed version. Winds of 5-10mph should be fine, anything over that will be a challenge.

    I just got my V912 and I got some concern about its legitimacy, I can't see no WLToys engraved on the motor and it has no power switch, there is a hole for it but not switch, the box and canopy say WLToys.
    What do you think?

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  9 лет назад

      +TheLuismondo Can't say for sure without seeing a picture of it, where did you order it from?

    • @luiggimondoli
      @luiggimondoli 9 лет назад

      +tjrosenberry I got it on eBay but paid regular price not cheap bargain ($75 free shipping) and they claimed Original Wltoys V912 brushless version but the missing switch makes me think and I want to make sure before the return period expire. Other differences: Battery is silver (not blue) and the motor control board is encapsulated in a shrink tube.
      Where can I send you a picture?

    Hello,
    can anybody help me, I have just received my V912 brushless (out of the box) but it flies absolutely unstable.
    If I try to start flying, it flies backwards, no possibility to trim that via the remote control.
    I have already a brushed V911 that works fine but not this one.
    I have tried to trim it via the remote control but the problem is still the same.
    What can I do to fix that problem?
    best regards,
    Christian

      Ensure everything is correctly linked to the swash plate. Also don't move it when you first plug it in as the gyro is initializing. Worst case you may have a defective unit, I'd suggest emailing the supplier.

      I know this is an old post but it might be relevant here to someone else.
      I just picked up a v911 and when I first took it out of the box, I moved the servos by hand while checking it out. Sure enough when I went to fly it, it was continually trying to fly in a certain direction. I found out that I had to manually position the servos back to center before starting up to straighten things out.

      James Piccone Don't need it as the V911 radio has the high and low mode button. That being said the radio feels better in the hands as it is bigger and has better ergonomics.

      tjrosenberry thanks for your response I'm super excited to get mine, I purchased from a wltoys distributor out of California for around twenty bucks. does the tail wiggles ore than the v912 brushed?

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад

      No, I haven't experienced much tail wag at all. Only fast throttle movements will you see the tail loose track.

    • @jera2020
      @jera2020 10 лет назад

      Tjrosenberry hmm... thanks.. mine you can see the tail constantly trying to adjust to keep the heli straight ... it makes the heli unstable. I guess I am gonna have to change the pcb board and see if that fixes it

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад

      jera2020 You're heading in the right direction with the PCB. The gyros' gains must be set to high causing it to wag. My 450 sized used to do that but you can adjust the gyro and is now fixed. Before you order check to ensure the PCB is mounted tight and there is no vibration issues with the heli, as that could also cause wag.

    • @jera2020
      @jera2020 10 лет назад

      Tjrosenberry Thank you very much for all your replies... Yeah trust me I check every single thing... I think I got a lemon... I will change the pcb board and hopefully that fixes it. The new pcb board now has two cables running to the connector instead of three like yours... hopefully the new pcb boards are not the problem.. we will see... Thank you

    installing a defective motor requires soldering?

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  9 лет назад

      Eagle Heart The main motor shouldn't go bad as it is brushless, the tail motor you can find either with wires(plug and play) or without which would require soldering.

    I've just got a V912 brushless heli. I'm not a heli enthusiast (I prefer fixed wing) but it's good to try something new occasionally and I enjoy my V911s in my winter indoor sessions.
    I bought the bare BNF version because I have a Taranis transmitter with a FlySky module I use for my other WLToys models. It binds OK and I've had a little test fly in our very low and restricted sitting room. However, I find I have to rebind it each time I switch it on. Once the heli receiver is switched off it forgets which transmitter is boss :) Is that the case with the supplied transmitter you use? It's not a serious problem but it is inconvenient in that there's a danger it may bind to another transmitter in a crowded village hall with possibly bad results.
    Very impressed with your flying btw. Even though you failed to land in the barrow it was a brave attempt and you did succeed to go under the hammock and round the tree. I hope I can do as well.

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад +1

      Hi Belper, Thank you for the compliments on my flying. Yeah the ground effect from the barrow was to much and couldn't set it down:). I don't have the binding issue with the stock radio from WL Toys, that said I believe it automatically rebinds every time its powered on. I have taken this heli to multiple indoor events without issue, with that I still hold the center of the main blades every time I power it up just like a full size CP heli to ensure if the motor powers up it won't take off. I would recommend doing this.

    • @belperflyer7419
      @belperflyer7419 10 лет назад

      Tjrosenberry
      Thanks for that. The rebinding issue seems a bit odd because the V911s I fly using the same transmitter and module stay bound usually. They do occasionally throw a wobbley but considering how cheap the electronics must be compared to my 'proper' receivers I accept it. If the V912 flies as well as the V911s but outside as well as in I'll be happy.

    • @SasquatchPNW
      @SasquatchPNW  10 лет назад

      Try adding the paddle flybar to your V911 from banggood. Makes it fly so much better outdoors.

    I bought the v912 and due to my stupidity I decides to fly it at night. and oh yeah.. I cant even see 15 feet ahead of me without glasses andddd I wasnt wearing them. Long story short. I hit some branches the heli fell blades down... I broke aluminum cap.. balance bar,, connect buckles got lost, swash plate guide was destroyed,,, canopy scratched real bad,,, inner shaft bent as well as the main shaft. Overall, 25 dollars in repairs, the heli costed me 60. I think I am gonna buy another one and leave this one as spare parts since I will be needing the main motor , battery and tail motor sometime in the future. If I wanted to crash it the way I did I couldnt have done it the way I did,

      I did some research and you can get an upgrade board. You have to have the upgrade board for a brushless motor.
