a hugeeee part of the reason why i love this song for them is because the song can be told from both of their perspectives. from Aziraphale's, it can be about Crowley refusing to look past his trauma and distaste for heaven to take this opportunity and fix things. (the way they both know things can be, _should_ be, even.) and from Crowley's side, it's about Aziraphale refusing to look past his trauma and running back to heaven when things get too difficult ("we could've been US!").

Gosh this is simply amazing. Obviously the kiss scene flashing through the millennia part was amazing, but some moments that had my artist brain happy screaming: the parallax scrolling effect to give depth through the bookshop window was such a nice subtle touch, the thick pencil brush combined with minimal lines gives such a nice combination of clean and rough that is perfect, the cyclical narrative returning back to the moment at the bookshop adding to the sense that this one moment will make or break their 6000+ years of memories that got them to that point, the fluidity yet shakiness of Aziraphale's flashback to their time as angels at 2:05 giving that sense of an idyllic memory long since past. SO many small things in this that stood out! Excellent story telling and execution.

There were a lot of things said in that last scene that I think meant totally different things to both of them, and because of that, they both got the wrong message about each other, making it all the more worse. Crowley says "you can't leave the bookshop" and means "You can't leave this life we've built" but Azi thinks just about the Bookshop Azi says "nothing lasts forever" and means the physical world but he'd give it all up for Crowley and Crowley hears "Nothing lasts forever, not the bookshop, not this, not us" Obviously this isn't confirmed but it's what I like to think because I like to put myself in pain :(

I had to put this in super slow motion on the third or fourth rewatch so I could really appreciate what you did with The Kiss. Goddamn. The sheer longing in that bit of animation, summing up so well how hard Crowley has been trying for so long and Aziraphale always pulling away in the end. Break my heart, why don’t you.
I love the way the last 2 frames are full of overlapping lines because they really are just overflowing with emotion in that moment, the boxes aren’t enough to hold them together T^T

From 2:43 onwards with them growing closer over the millennia, then pushing them back apart in the 1880s after the holy water argument, Crowley close to the centre alone after the bookshop fire, and them just slipping past each other at the very end…so so beautiful! Very, very slowly they come together, but right at the most crucial point in their relationship, too much happens too fast and they both miss the mark. Incredibly well done :]

Genuinely one of the most beautiful animatics ever. I know this song is used So Much in the fandom but your use of it is just So stunning and your artsyle is downright gorgeous - I can tell how much effort you've put into it and it shows so wonderfully. Favourite moments are switching Aziraphale and Crowley during the kiss montage when they swapped bodies, it's such a clever yet subtle nod to the event, the change in animatic style for Aziraphale's first memory of Crowley, increasing the frame rate for the "big" moments (like Crowley taking off his glasses, the actual kiss) , Crowley by himself for the fire in the final montage. So I guess my favourite moment is the entire animatic. This song always gets me in my feels for these two, but choosing to use colour and showing their kiss through all their meetings actually made me cry /pos. Saying you did an incredible job is an understatement; thank you So much for creating this
This is one of those animatics that truly hits me differently than most. Plenty of others are beautifully done and a joy to watch, but this ones timing and framing makes it feel so much heavier and more meaningful. So many comments share my thoughts but have worded it far better than I so I won't bother. I will however point out that while I know the part at 2:43 where Crowley falls into frame is suppose to be dramatic I can't help but find it really funny. This is one of my favorite animatics on RUclips. The part with the kiss as their selves change is already so masterfully done but the colors only being in that shot add to it as well. The frames later on as they change again and start walking toward each other but then SLIDE past- gorgeous. The symbolism is here, the frames flow beautifully with the music, and the art style is gorgeous. Masterfully done in my opinion!

wow i always loved how this song for some reason could capsulate the meaning of Aziraphale and Crowleys relationship so much.. Just generally being about birds, symbolism being for both their wings and the fact one want's to move on but the other just can't. you beautifully captured this especially when the couple bits of animation set in and my favourite detail specifically being the past versions of themselves getting closer, then they'd reset, and get closer again, then to leave off at what would seemingly be the closest and happiest they'd be if it weren't for the Metatron. But the whole animatic is beautiful in itself and I love how you matched some of the lyrics to moments in their relationship!

I have seen so many edits and animatics to this song ever since season 2 came out, but this is honestly one of the best ones I've seen. Its SO well thought out, and honestly somehow made me even more sad than when I first watched the season 2 ending? This is stunning!! ♥
Oof the scene that really hit me was you drawing them at different points in their lives and relationships. Watching them slowly getting closer, moving back when they fight. And at the end when they're running towards each other, finally almost touching with hands outstretched. They brush past one another in confusion and hurt.
If I wanted to describe why this animatic is so good, I would say this, it is a well-directed project that can make a person cry, regardless of the series. People in the comments cried about this six months ago. NOBODY was mentally stable at that time, but if it wasn't just me, your beautiful art was the reason why I cried for 7 minutes just now. There's already tons of talent and imagination flowing from everyone in the Good Omens fandom, but this is really something else.
This was just..absolutely stunningly done. Their emotions are so well conveyed. And so many little details within some of the individual shots! (The stars hidden in Crowley's clothing! The panel of Crowley alone after the fire! The body swap in the kiss stream!!) And the spurts of smoother animation are so smooth and just aaaaa. So good. I am Experiencing Emotions. Fantastic job.

Genuinely one of the most beautiful animatics ever. I know this song is used So Much in the fandom but your use of it is just So stunning and your artsyle is downright gorgeous - I can tell how much effort you've put into it and it shows so wonderfully. Favourite moments are switching Aziraphale and Crowley during the kiss montage when they swapped bodies, it's such a clever yet subtle nod to the event, the change in animatic style for Aziraphale's first memory of Crowley, increasing the frame rate for the "big" moments (like Crowley taking off his glasses, the actual kiss) , Crowley by himself for the fire in the final montage. So I guess my favourite moment is the entire animatic. This song always gets me in my feels for these two, but choosing to use colour and showing their kiss through all their meetings actually made me cry /pos. Saying you did an incredible job is an understatement; thank you So much for creating this
This is one of those animatics that truly hits me differently than most. Plenty of others are beautifully done and a joy to watch, but this ones timing and framing makes it feel so much heavier and more meaningful. So many comments share my thoughts but have worded it far better than I so I won't bother. I will however point out that while I know the part at 2:43 where Crowley falls into frame is suppose to be dramatic I can't help but find it really funny. All I can hear is cartoonish splat sounds watching it lmao

This is one of my favorite animatics on RUclips. The part with the kiss as their selves change is already so masterfully done but the colors only being in that shot add to it as well. The frames later on as they change again and start walking toward each other but then SLIDE past- gorgeous. The symbolism is here, the frames flow beautifully with the music, and the art style is gorgeous. Masterfully done in my opinion!
I could watch this a million times and still not see every detail this is so well done!! The flashing of them kissing through the eras is so beautifully done! And I love how at the end they slowly move closer together just to move farther apart and then closer again before switching sides! It’s just so !!! wow i always loved how this song for some reason could capsulate the meaning of Aziraphale and Crowleys relationship so much.. Just generally being about birds, symbolism being for both their wings and the fact one want's to move on but the other just can't.
you beautifully captured this especially when the couple bits of animation set in and my favourite detail specifically being the past versions of themselves getting closer, then they'd reset, and get closer again, then to leave off at what would seemingly be the closest and happiest they'd be if it weren't for the Metatron. But the whole animatic is beautiful in itself and I love how you matched some of the lyrics to moments in their relationship!

Oof the scene that really hit me was you drawing them at different points in their lives and relationships. Watching them slowly getting closer, moving back when they fight. And at the end when they're running towards each other, finally almost touching with hands outstretched. They brush past one another in confusion and hurt.

If I wanted to describe why this animatic is so good, I would say this, it is a well-directed project that can make a person cry, regardless of the series. People in the comments cried about this six months ago. NOBODY was mentally stable at that time, but if it wasn't just me, your beautiful art was the reason why I cried for 7 minutes just now. There's already tons of talent and imagination flowing from everyone in the Good Omens fandom, but this is really something else.

Oh my God, this is the best animation on all of RUclips that I've seen, I can't put into words how it brings to tears and goosebumps, especially the ending. The moment when Crowley kisses Aziraphale in general is a dump of everything, so simple, but so brilliant. And when they gradually come closer to each other from different eras, it brings to goosebumps and tears, separately animation with stars in their eyes, wow how exciting!
