Sir, I am a little confused with package installation in latex. When I download files package file from ctan. It usually three types, sty, dtx, ins if i am not wrong. These files are present in latex folder but only .sty respone and error remove, but other files types errro remain, please guide the solution of my problem. thannks
I am using Windows 8, i am not able to refresh the latex as you did by refreshing FNDB, as i am unable to find it in search option and inside directory it is just nowhere, what can i do?
In the search option, just type 'settings'' and you will see that option. You can find it in 'C' drive, follow this path: \Program Files (x86)\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin. In 'bin' folder, find 'mo_admin' file and open it.

Indeed I just observed when I am downloading these packages then I am receiving 4 files in the folder of packages(Latex Package source,Latex Source Installation, Adobe Acrobat, Readme) but none is latex file like it is appearing in your video of coffee folder it is a latex file.

I thought we can download any 'sty' from 'ctan' but for some packages, 'sty' files are not available and we need to convert the 'ins' file into 'sty' if we want to keep the required package in the same working folder. If you follow the second method explained in the video then you don't need to convert anything. I will make a video on that. Right now i can provide the required packages. Drop your mail id here.

I can not undesrtand why I get error to compiler some files. This happens if I don´t add the command "\RequirePackage[fecha]{latexrelease}"
