I fear you got it wrong! No where, it mentions that Shiva is non Vedic. You must be confusing it with the inclusion of Shavisim in to the Brahmanical folds. You can rewatch the video from 1.00 to 3.50. (perticularly :1.40). "Shiva is adi and Shiva is the Aantt." I also feel that categorising Shiva as non Vedic would not be correct.
