When I was a young kid I didn't want to be the rock stars I was listening to constantly, I wanted to be Steve Lillywhite. Big Country, Simple Minds and U2 were my musical world.
Hey those were my favorite bands too! I miss Stuart adamson don’t you?
The Crossing, nuff said
Great album. I bought it
The Crossing and Steeltown, by Big Country. Awesome albums by an amazing band, made real by the talent of Steve Lillywhite. Great producer.
The crossing I don’t need to say anymore a masterpiece
Nobody sounds like Lillywhite! He's a true original.

Incredible production on u2 war album
I’m glad Steve produced U2. I don’t think their albums would’ve been the same without him.
Lmao! Steve summed up Brian Eno! lol
Great sound. I have the same turntable. Really considering that AT cartridge. Do you know what headshell you used?
Does anyone know what that white device is on the right side of the screen sitting on the desk behind Steve? Looks like it might have some faders on it but I don't think I've seen one before
It is a controller unit for a lexicon digital reverb. It's to adjust the parameters on the reverb, which is in a rack box. (Giant computer)
Steve, I’ve always wanted to know this .. who’s idea was the eye on The La’s album cover?
He’s so british
"Some sort of organ-y thing to play the strings on." Steve Lillywhite doesn't know what a Mellotron was?
He’s explaining it to the non initiated
