Why are there no full official tutorials for Tekla ? I can't find anything but indian's tutorials . Why ? There are very few videos regarding detailing which is what you do for 60% of the time !
In the US at least, the official training is something you can purchase from your account manager. There is however, a lot of free content available online as well. There is a 'first steps' elearning course available here: teklastructures.support.tekla.com/elearning/steel-detailers Please note that this content is managed by our HQ so it is in metric, however the concepts remain the same if you work in Imperial units. If you're looking for specific topics, like new features, we have a playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLYbj2JlSfwmatOi2cMs392caqTO4w2wTH or for tips/tricks of various subjects we have a playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLYbj2JlSfwmapeG7859jzVVcF461Ghxkq
Tekla originally was created for detailing and fabricating steel, but for many years now there are also tools for precast and cast in place modeling, and rebar detailing.
@@Th3Falkas I wouldn't say more developed. Tekla has powerful tools for concrete structures (cast in place and precast), as well. For more informations visit www.tekla.com or www.construsoft.com ;-)
@@jordanhernadi2157 Ah those should help the debuting users, Tekla business is to sell licenses, if people are afraid because at the start the handle is complicated , I can understand the trick Userfriendly is the path imo
@ML The new UI not userfriendly but stupidfriendly. Have you ever wondered why colors are used on different traffic signs? Tekla is not for dummies!!!!

Tekla is better for steel or concrete?

@@TrimbleTeklaDave so i guess, it's more developed in steel?

Tekla is best & has more options to work with and speed is great for production of the drawings, rework of drawings is very less
Mybe never tried it but the price is also the best
and Tekla was even faster a few years ago, before they started screwing up the user interface with the crazy ribbon and space consuming side pane etc.
