The pin is iron and the shackle is aluminum. I guess anti-size grease had to be applied to the pin tread as well all locking device treads to prevent GALVANIC CORROSION that would weld all the parts together. So because of that I am planning on buying the UBER shackles and apply white lithium grease on the treads.
Any chance you will get these Ultra in the same color of blue as the Mega and the Uber ? I only see them in black and red on your website and these are just gonna hang on my truck 24/7 for looks..... so wanting an assortment of colors including blue and green and would love to get them in this Ultra aluminum. If not i see all colors of your mega on amazon sold by you & shipped by Amazon and I'll just load up on those i suppose. thanks
Do you guys offer isolators for these? I have 3 of these on my jeep, and I keep the winch hook hanging from one, it's starting to show it's share of wear after a year.

Love the shackles but the security part anybody anybody could take that off Not much security there
It's not as easy as you think, plus any thief will get your stuff if they want it bad enough. This is a deterrent.

Btw I can attest to the quality of these. Though the paint is wearing off the one with the hook on it after a year, there is still no rust...
