    you have some real talent. im planting chilis in sweden and the seasons are short here. Jamaica is heaven for growing. I start growing indoors in Januari and take the plants outside in June xD

    Wow !!❤ your video especially the way you showed different stages of the growth of the seedlings 🌱 to fully mature plants 😊. Great job team. You need water boots and proper cutting tools.     Install plastic mulching before transplanting that should help reduce shock on plants.

    Lay the plastic first, then punch holes in the plastic for the plants to be transplanted !.
    Soak soil before laying plastic, and leave covered for a week or so, before planting...

    Use Quarter acre of the land do hydroponic farming , it takes more to start up but much more will be yeild

    You should lay the plastic down first. Then use a torch burner to burn the hole in the plastic for each plant and then plant the plants. It will be easier and you will have less casualties.

      @@natureinspiredoh I'm a beginner myself. Don't know much about scotch bonnet. With seasoning and bell peppers, pruning, that is removing all leaves and suckers below the fruit bearing cluster or the first fork in the plant, is highly recommended to increase fruit size, reduce susceptibility to pests and increase airflow among plants.

      Sometimes pruning helps, give more foliage but plants can take ages to produce fruits.

      ​@@natureinspiredoh I've had success with not pruning the plants. I don't see much difference in the size of the fruits. Just my thoughts. Maybe you can experiment and see how it works for you.

    Could the plastic much go down before yhe plants came, cut the holes before the plants came and then insert the plants thru the hole?

    Remember not to have person who smoke or are in contact with tobacco to be around your plants. Tobacco mosaic virus can wipe you out. Keep going guys. Those peppers are huge

      Thanks for the support. The peppers are planted on average 1.5 to 2 feet apart on the furrow but 3 feet across the furrow.

    What do you do with the plastic once you no longer need it, you know if it is not disposed of well, it degrades the soil and gets into the sea etc and damage the wildlife.

    Are these the traditional variety of Jamaica scotch bonnet, the ones that was around at least 60, 70 years ago?

      It is the Grade A scotch bonnet that is currently researched and distributed by Bodles Research. They sell the seeds as well as the seedlings.
