Why would the colonizers want to take responsibility and accountability for what they have done and continue to do to the African countries? The acceptance of responsibility would indicate they have wronged the continent of Africa and continue to indirectly wrong Africa to maintain their greedy standard of living through the exploitation of African resources. If they accept responsibility, then they would have to pay reparation for all the chaos and evil acts they have inflicted on Africa and continue till today..

When Sékou Touré of Guinea decided in 1958 to get out of french colonial empire, and opted for the country independence, the french colonial elite in Paris got so furious, and in a historic act of fury the french administration in Guinea destroyed everything in the country which represented what they called the benefits from french colonization.
Three thousand French left the country, taking all their property and destroying anything that which could not be moved: schools, nurseries, public administration buildings were crumbled; cars, books, medicine, research institute instruments, tractors were crushed and sabotaged; horses, cows in the farms were killed, and food in warehouses were burned or poisoned.
The purpose of this outrageous act was to send a clear message to all other colonies that the consequences for rejecting France would be very high.
Slowly fear spread trough the african elite, and none after the Guinea events ever found the courage to follow the example of Sékou Touré, whose slogan was “We prefer freedom in poverty to opulence in slavery.”

Let's think about WHY he said that. From the French perspective, their attitude is that they simply conquered, exploited and dominated their part of Africa --- just as their fellow Europeans, the Arabs and now the Chinese. Once they planted their foreign tyranny, cultures, and economic infrastructures in Africa.. they assert their rights and privileges to do as they wish there. They assume no responsibility for collateral damage to the African as the French and others have little or no respect for her/his humanity. Whether or not true, the French and other foreign interlopers into Africa believe the African to be a corrupt, godless, and defenseless moron. As such, they feel no remorse for their crimes against African humanity..and instead have bamboozled much of so-called Francophone Africa into paying France reparations! So far, African leaders have not been able to defend their wealth and dignity. The French Ambassador is simply doing Macron's. He raises the question: 'To whom does Africa belong?' Pan-African Elders Nkrumah, Kenyatta, Fanon, Ali, M. Garvey and many others tried but failed to wrest African sovereignty from parasitical interlopers and rightfully return it to African peoples. When you don't respect and defend yourself and your possessions .. any opportunistic group can walk into your Garden of Eden and take everything good in for themselves. Self-respect and Courage are virtues of good peoples with sound minds. The brazen arrogance of the ambassador is putrid.

It's sad and very unfair that as of today most of Africa is still held back by the west or former colonial powers. Here in North America we have our problems due to our painful chapters in history, but I've seen in my lifetime action taken to advance equality and dignity for all people to live in peace and prosperity, no matter what origins. I cannot say here is a paradise and everything is perfect, but we admitted our fault for the horrors that happened during slavery therefore to move on to be a better nation. France should follow up the same, it's arrogance doesn't help to have better relations, in a world where we all humanity should better work together with equality and justice, not powerful countries taking advantage of others. Wonderful video and wonderful channel, thank you and continue to speak out the injustice. You and your people are on the right side of history and karma will make France to become better to Africa or lose, which would be too much for their ego and die of humiliation.
