@bradowenpoker you are a legend for that outro!!! Thanks for throwing that in I’m still laughing! Good luck to you, you have been killing it and it’s been inspiring to watch you grow! I’m in jersey and planning to go to Borgata next month.
Every once in a while I go watch your first video. The journey has been amazing. Through like 4 different jobs, through struggles, happiness, after getting felted or after winning big your videos always play all day in my air pods. Love you brad way to represent the little guy and show that it can be done! True inspiration.
I was the beau rivage dealer that was unfortunately hospitalized for transplant kidney rejection but was super grateful that you were willing to FaceTime me and sign my special Hoodie! I hope you'll make another trip down for our big events in the future and will be excited to finally get to play with you! Great vlog as always and can't wait to see more. Brad Owen is the real deal in terms of class.
Been loving watching your meteoric rise from rec player to pro player lately Brad, complete with coming out on top of all your recent amateur sessions! Keep it up.
That QA over Q10 hand pretty much sums up where you are on the poker dial. All of us would have probably folded that hand assuming we were beat. Amazing how far you have come. Thanks for letting us be a part of the ride.
That AQ hand was awesome to watch. My assessment skills (and balls...and bank) are nowhere near enough to make that $1k call. Thanks for another great video Brad.
Blows my mind how knowledgeable you are at your craft. You can see just how well your read most of the situations your in just how much time you’ve invested in improving your game! Good stuff!
I wish I would have seen you at the Beau. Super surprised they let you film. Cash games are so great during the Heater, hope you come back. Thanks for all the vids!
I feel like that QJ v AQ hand early on is exactly the type of hand that shows why you have had this huge improvement the last year plus. Even though you could have gotten more out of the hand you played it correctly and won instead of potentially getting bluffed off or making a huge pot that you could have lost. Yet you take those same spots where ranges are in your favor and squeeze out every ounce of thin value at every opportunity. It’s so fun to watch.
I envy your trip to Vietnam. I have visited in Japan,Vietnam and Thailand, and enjoyed all those nation's People and their politeness and friendly accommodation of tourists to their country. When I think of Vietnam, I especially remember the banh mi bread and baguette sandwiches! Traditional recipes are also great, but the French foods they do are better than in France, I've been told...that which I tried was delicious! Of course, Thailand is the 'Land of Smiles' and with world famous food recipes, as spicy as you like! Anyway, have fun and remember that all those 'Shots' can save your life, and if you are there more than a month, the quinine tablets can be reinforced by some gin-and-tonic which helps protect your health, also. :)
Love the content and always look forward to new videos. Ever consider adding a money tracker to the bottom right corner? You do a good job talking about how the session is going but for visual people it'd be a nice touch to see + or - $x in the bottom right corner and have it be a running real time total after each hand
Great video - really enjoy your content - I was confused about the apology to Mike Matisow - but maybe you’ll explain that it another video !!! Can’t wait for the next one !?
Hey Brad, loving the channel so far. I like the fact you can’t see your opponents hands so it’s like you’re playing along and trying to figure out what they have. I have a question for you - I have just started playing in four figure main events but am unhappy with the tournament structures. Do you know of any tournaments around $1000 buy ins that have longer levels and smaller blinds compared to the starting stack?
A 50K starting stack with 50 minute blind levels or longer with a slow progression of the blinds would be ideal. I played in a WSOP circuit main event a few months ago and tripled my stack which was small compared to the blinds after 6 hours. The WSOP Main Event is the ultimate structure but I don’t have 10K to throw around.
Brad, you're heading to my new nack of the woods. I'm an American who relocated to the Philippines about a year ago. Enjoy Asia and if you get bored of the rich city nightlife, you're welcome to stop by here in the province and learn what peace and quiet is. Unless you count the dogs, roosters, and karaoke LOL
Brad going to triton says it all. Each blog getting bigger and better. Love the content! Keep up the great grind. Rooting for ya champ! Big things ahead!🤟
Holy crap, you're going to Cambodia? I'm living here for the year. I'll have to go and check out the WPT event (which I didn't even know was happening, lol).
Been watching you for a while now brad I love your content you’ve taught me so much about poker and how to play my hands. Just wanted to say I hope you keep killing it in your career and to keep the vlogs coming!
The vlog hasn't caught up to the dry spell. It actually won't since most of the losing was done online and the rest of it was at MGM properties where we're not allowed to film anymore. Hopefully I can get things back on track this week at The Lodge.
That was an EXCELLENT call with AQ against that 1k river 3-bet. His bet SCREAMED "Blocker," that's for SURE. But, it wasn't an easy call because 4 players were in after the flop.
Hey Brad, big fan of the vlog! Wondering if you will be in Cambodia on March 9th for opening day events? I can't stay until the meet up game but would be great to meet you during the opening day!
Hi Brad, i live in Vietnam, i was living in Da Nang for 4 years and now i live in Ho Chi Minh, i will be down at Triton Hoi An (just as a viewer ahah). I will be in Vegas for the first time in my life this summer and would be amazing to meet you! Jamel
Nice session Brad! If you’re still working w Nick P, would love to hear his thoughts on the last hand. The AJ out of BB hand. Once SB leads, you raise turn and UTGS flats, wonder if betting 90% on river targeting weaker 2 pair is the right sizing? I’m guessing it’s close as outside of the few combos of straights that come in, what else does UTGS really show up with? Obv you miss value if he does have some weaker 2 pair (which still may fold to larger sizing) however if he is floating with a combo draw or happens to play a set tricky…I dunno. Weird spot to either check/call or bet…maybe 70% rather than 90%? Anyway, love to hear additional thoughts. As always, best wishes!
@@BradOwenPokeragree 100% bro! What I mean is, and no matter what this is a funky hand imho so it’s a 1 off as played by UTGS, but…flop goes check, turn goes SB lead, raise, call, fold, call. AJhh6s7d board. What are they doing flatting raise? Then river 8d. What I was trying to communicate is the river sizing as it’s a clear bet for you. If targeting weaker 2 pairs (A6, A7,67, 68hh, 78hh) that’s 23 combos. The broadway floats that fold 48 combos. The 9T and 54 that get there 32combos add the weird 6 combos of sets we got 38 combos of beating top 2. So if targeting those 23 combos for value, folding out 48+ combos and when running into 38 combos that beat is…is 90% the right sizing on the river? That’s what I was thinking/wondering about? Seems like a smaller sizing might make more sense but…I don’t know. Definitely a weird hand imho and perhaps if UTGS played the set with the turn raise which is the 101 play as he could as well with straight combos, I’m not even thinking about the river sizing but glad he did as it’s an interesting spot. Frankly his play doesn’t change the math but at least the result made the question more obvious.

Yes! Wasn't expecting a new video so soon. Brad. Taking down pots and making stranger's lunch breaks better. Thanks 👍

Beauty call/play with AQ Brad! Very well played
I stayed the Beaurivage when it first opened. Looks like they haven’t done anything to the place since. That’s a shame. It was beautiful.
Keep it rolling Brad! Great content as usual.
