Wow, SO much better than the way I've been wrapping multiple turns around and around the column and then using clips or tape to hold them up. Thanks for making this video. This is WAY better.
Love the straps always. Tutorial would teach new folks more if you used the straps on the square column you started with. A. To show how the strap is better for the railing issue. B. Square is harder in some senses to wrap. C. It would prove your point about the amount of wraps above and below the rail and take that issue out of the equation. Just my thoughts, no slight on you or what you do.

Redo the video with white straps and white cord. You even admitted it would look a lot better.
