She took control of the trip because you allowed her to take control of the trip. She canceled your tickets because you allowed her access to your account. You knew who she was. She's told you multiple times and yet you let her walk all over you. I'm I'm glad you finally grew a spine but don't let people walk all over you again ever

It sounds like the parents might have pampered her a bit too much but narcissism isn't something you can change? You can be the best parent in the world. Like my mom/, Grandma was. And you can have 2 kids that end up to be f****** hellions. My oldest sister tried to stop by eye out with a potato pillar, my second older sister. Is now being charged with assault on both me and my mom. So the people who say it's always the parent's fault when kids end up bad, not always.

Closer to a sociopath. Narcissist are pretty much about themselves but they will try to be fair, sociopaths don't have any conscience.

Bonnie deserved what she got but i will never understand how American parents asks children to pay rent or have issues with childreb eating at their place like asian parents would never. They will bring up every reason to prolong their children moving out and will continuously hound them for having food at their house.

@@AumendJoy5962 throwing children out the moment they turn 18 is no way gonna help those children. Living in the same city and making them stay with you will help them save so much money. Those children have to earn, go to college, pay living expenses and have debt. It's not doing them any good. That's not learning that's throwing them on the streets to fend for themselves.

@@minnie-rk7ffWell, to start she's 24, not 18. She had a job, so she had money coming in. She needed to learn to function as an adult, and the parents wanted to give her a gentle way of learning those skills by requiring rent of the daughter, so she had time to learn money management while paying someone who would be much more flexible than the average landlord for missed payments. When her entitlement was exposed in all its glory, combined with the fact that she had shown no signs of learning the right lessons, they knew that she needed to learn to sink or swim. Even then they payed for 2 months of rent.
It is unfortunate that she is likely going to hit rock bottom, since it is painful and hard to recover from that, and there are many who don't. But better for her to do so know, so if she does get her act together, there is a support structure to help pull her back up. If they had just let her live off them for the rest of their lives, she would be put in the same situation when they passed, but with no help to come back up if she learned the lesson.
