This was a great video! For the price I could have just thrown it away, but I was determined and you detailed it perfectly. I would add that I used tweezers because once you get white on your fingers then everything sticks and it just keeps getting messier and messier.

Glad it helped some people. I guess I don't have the patience and/or dexterity to fix this. I've had other white out tools in the past that were trouble-free. If my local store doesn't have another choice, I'll have to go online to get one. I need it for my bullet journal.

You have to get another tape to stick with the whiteout tape only on one side? And do u push the other part of this whiteout by making sure the two parts match.

I can’t read that tiny print, it would’ve been easier to just explain the info out loud… Update: but I finally got it done. ✅ What I thought was going to be was frustrating AND impossible was just frustrating, but doable. You have the patience of a saint lol. Thank you!
For sure it was really difficult to open and I actually hurt my thumb nail doing so. I suggest maybe used a flat head screwdriver or something else sturdy enough to help ^.^

My tape came out a lot so I just drilled a hole and turned the gear inside with a small screwdriver.
I couldn’t do it, so I ordered a Tombo one. Clue: there are no RUclips videos on how to fix those, so I assume they don’t break like the Bics.

I had to enlist a pair of long-needle tweezers to hold the tape steady, it made a big difference.
Just can't tell if you're placing the tape on the shinny part of the white out? 😬
It doesnt matter as long as you secure the tape to the wheel! Hope this helps
