I know you didn't ask but if you didn't know... Go on your steam library -> right click on arma 3 -> properties and enable dev branch. There are a few multiplayer servers on the Tanoa map already. You should be able to get a feel for it, if you was interested :)

This trailer provokes a strong sense of deja vu regarding Crysis (the original one), even without taking that carryall VTOL into account. However, the fact that the player will be a part of the British CTRG, makes it more like Crysis: Warhead.
i can't take of the smile on my face :P so happy to see this even if i'm "against" DLC, but this is not a AAA company so i'm happy to support them with more than a "normal" price for the game. Looking forward !

Eh, they still need to work on optimization for AMD equivalent cards from what I hear from all of the AMD users complaining. I have a buddy with a rig that just has an A10-6700 with IGPU, looks shit and it is, but he gets 30fps, low settings, but still, well optimized for such a big map.

I realised everybody can try the Apex right now. (at least part of it) If you pre-ordered it, you can try everything. If you didn't pre-order it, you can still try the new vehicles, weapons and equipment in the virtual arsenal / garage. And everybody will see a big difference right after launching the game. (no spoilers, i like really this update)

Not the GPU is important for this game but a CPU with a high frequency is important because ARMA 3 It is very focused on CPUs then GPU. I have a a i7-4710HQ 2.5 GHz 8GB of ram and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 850m of 2GB VRAM and the game runs at 80fps in 30 vs 30 tanks fight. The people who complain about fps drops there are not interested in simulation games , they prefer a arcade shooter then a strategy (Think before you act) simulation shooter.
Where is any of the CQC style stuff that was shown around 0:19? No flashbangs, no entry animations, nothing. This was probably one of the coolest parts about this teaser trailer, but it isn't anywhere in the game. Hopefully we'll see some stuff like this in Arma 4

Congrats on dividing the community with this update. Half of the players on the common servers will not be able to buy it due to financial situations. So as the servers make this map a requirement, it essentially splits the community up. So good job! Would of been better if you made the map free. Making players pay for more content when we already payed for Arma 3 (which is a bare minimum game, if it wasnt for the modding community.) The day I buy any DLC from bohemia interactive is when they fix the memory leaks that have plagued this game this day 1.
Oh man, I can hardly wait to play this with a VR headset! I´ll but it at some point, but my Radeon R9 270 can´t handle ARMA in standard 1080p so well, so I´ll wait until after I upgrade. Looks absolutely stunning, tho.
