Mental Block aka Grid Skewb Tutorial Solve

Just a quick tutorial/walkthrough solve of the Mental Block aka Grid Skewb puzzle. A fun skewb shape mod recently mass produced by the LanLan puzzle company. Not a terribly difficult solve, but a lot of fun for sure. It's certainly enough of a twist on the standard puzzle to throw your brain off.

I popped mine a good seven or so times before I finally solved it. It happens easier than some might expect

Same here. Barely turned it and pop! Have to watch every turn.

It was easier to assemble off camera when I wasn't trying to keep track of keeping it in frame and talk about what I was doing, that's for sure lol. Luckily, that was my first and only pop, hopefully just a fluke for me. Best of luck keeping yours together in the future!

Sorry to see that you don't like it. I must either have a very soft touch with puzzles, or have gotten very lucky. This one has popped on me a time or two, but usually just a single piece that I can adjust before the puzzle falls apart. Another recent puzzle, the mf8 DeCETH has so many complaints from other solvers of frequent pops and explosions. I've never had any issues with mine.

Thanks for the tutorial. at first i couldn't keep up then when the last piece wasn't oriented and i kinda thought i needed to disasemble it i continued watching and now it's solved. Really glad cuz i couldn't find sh*t on google about this cube :P
