The long-awaited return to normal is still out of sight, so getting off the grid until the dust settles remains the perfect solution. The best RVs to help us on this mission are definitely ultra-expensive expedition vehicles with extreme chassis, rugged exteriors, bottomless water and gas tanks, massive batteries and of course beyond comfortable interiors. Surely, the scenario when we buy one of these is very slim, but window shopping has always been a perfect past time!

For the Turkish Crawler, international recognition came in 2020, when their Otag 600 motorhome received extensive media coverage as the ultimate expedition-ready vehicle. This year, the company is debuting an even larger Otag 830 model that is built on the same MAN TGM 4x4 chassis, but is almost 7 feet longer than its famous sibling.

For this rig Australia’s SLRV borrows a new 14 feet light commercial van platform from the Italian Industrial Vehicles corporation. The Iveco Daily is a highly specced off-roader with front, center and rear differentials, parabolic suspension and super single wheels.

This is the starter expedition model from the Czech Republic, yet already fully equipped with the necessary for borderless adventures. The rig is built on the IVECO Eurocargo chassis with full a four wheel drive.

One of the priciest motorhomes on our today’s list is designed by the Germany’s Unicat, that are famous of their huge, 6x6 and 8x8 expedition vehicles. The T59 is the company’s best-selling 4x4 model that can be built either on MAN or Mercedes Zetros underpinnings.

Though sold under the Otag moniker, the new 385 model uses Unimog underpinnings, instead of MAN chassis from the rest of the family. The camper has the looks of a class C motorhome, but features a pop-up roof section in place of a seamless cabover.

the XRV Adventure 612 based on the IVECO Eurocargo ML150 20HW 4X4 + 5.0 in. Lift 9.2 TDI I6 4-Dr Crew Cab Camper Truck (RHD) would do well in Indian conditions . . .

@@MustSeeTech Not even close to starting prices, a Mercedes U5023 the little brother of the Zetros in expedition spec, cab chassis alone is around $278000 Australian. That Zetros would be closer to a million if not more complete with living unit. If you don’t know, don’t even try putting the price there because it’s way of the mark.
If only, they were just a little bit more expensive, then no one could afford to buy any of them?

And are so big they won't fit offroad in areas with trees, greatly limiting their use in places like Colorado. I'll stick with my pinz, with no interior.
