BIGGEST One day Motorcycle Rally in the World. The little town of Port Dover, Ontario host this rally every Friday the 13th rain or shine, even snow does not stop this rally.

Two guys started it in 1981 and those two guys told two more guys and then they told two and before you know it an event was formed, it happens rain or shine even in the winter its an event.

Thanks for your kind words, you were there basically in the same time frame as myself, I got there for noon and left just before 5 pm. It was at least 30 minute walk to where I was parked. I must check out your video now.
It isn't too far from where I live and great fish Lake Erie has some fine tasting Perch. I try not to miss one over the many years of attending......however winter can be tough. Thanks for your kind words Eric. Stay safe

First time to the channel. I enjoyed the vlog. I am loving how everyone is showing this event. So many things I did not get to see was captured by someone else. I love it!

Ya wasn't too bad for numbers considering it was a fall event. You will have to be sure to book Sept 2024 off that is the next one and that will be nice weather...well chance of rain but hey, it's Dover.
Nice capture of the day . Its been interesting to view some of the videos from various RUclipsrs that I was lucky enough to catch up with and talk to that day . Would have been nice to spot you in the crowd and say hi , oh well ,maybe the next one . Its intriguing to see how we all had basically the same subject matter to shoot and yet come up with vastly different interpretations in the final cut we post . I guess thats what makes the RUclips world so appealing . Cheers

I miss going to this, it is very difficult to ask for the time off as kids wont be going to school that day if i book off. I miss going to the Erie Beach Hotel for celery bread and perch dinner. Thanks for sharing it Gloria.
Hi Ron, I do love working at the school as my vacation days fit right in with these events!! I get it tho with your position yes kids depend on you to get them there, tougher to take time off! I had my perch dinner at Erie did you see the pic at the end? Yummy stuff and good memories from chapter days!

That looks like a big event for Port Dover. A LOT of bikes for a one day rally. I remember that couple from their singing vids on YT, they are really good. I'm surprised that you and Dave, Harleys, Diners, Rides...or as I say, "The Canadian HDR" were not in each other's videos. Do they do this event every Oct 13th?
Every Friday the 13th it happens, it’s so crowded hard to find anyone, and this was nothing a smaller than normal crowd yet still I missed seeing them.
Yes!! That is typical fall and spring riding weather for sure, just ya don't like a cold rain. Not far for me, take the back roads home in just over an hour.
I think they’re really trying to ruin this rally now you’re not even allowed to park your bikes on Main Street. Put the damn vendors back in the park and let the bikes use. The road people are there to see the bikes, not the vendors.
Totally agree!! It has lost the group of bikers feeling, no motorcycling parking on the main drag just took it all away.........absolutely craziness now. Walking everywhere, I agree vendors back to the park........ "Dover is over" as the saying goes.
Thanks for watching and commenting, We must meet up for a hello in September 2024 .... We have been supporting it for many many years, now we ride in get our feed of perch and ride out.........we do take a quick walk around, but it's very hard to see all the bikes now.

I saw more than one Spyder there lol! I'm working on an Alaskan video...in all of Alaska, I saw two other Spyders the whole time we were there lol

I was there June 2018... OPP estimated 250,000 bikes... it was HOT and crowded but so awesome!!! Will be back for Sept 2024 🙂
