I was there back during the Great COVID and it was closed. In the middle of nowhere. The guy across the street at the gate had old cars in his building and invited me over for a 🍺 and took me for a tour😎🇺🇸
✴️ since she was raised there, I wondered if she was an Eastern Star. Your shots from inside has put this on our list. We must come and eat. Safe travels to you.
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying them! Have you checked out Motorcycle Destinations on You Tube yet? The videos are all 3 minutes or less and feature a variety of locations
Your were so close to my town, I would have like to have met you in person, maybe one day down the road, keep it going brother. And thanks for what you do for us veterans
I don't think that little video is going to hurt her business. I think it will make people want to come and see it, I know it has me. Be careful, Drive safe.
Thank You Adam, I once had an apprentice in my wood shop that was a few years older than me, when I asked him what he was going to be when he grows up, he simply said; "old!". Thank You for showing the old wooden hand planes. I'm probably the only one that saw them and that's okay, now I have a destination in Florida I know I will enjoy. With Love and Respect, You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
I visited the castle many years ago with my ex-daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons and Solomon's wife took us on a tour of the museum and also their living quarters. He was there puttering around. She showed us the "dungeon" that had a mannikin they called "the red hat lady who sold us this swamp" Walking thru the museum was so interesting and all his artwork, made from household things, had humorous names. My favorite were the armadillo made with tuna cans and the elephant created from metal barrels. We went to "the boat in the mote" and had a delicious lunch and my daughter-in-law didn't have enough cash, nor her checkbook, and they didn't take credit cards. OH NO...what to do! They were so gracious and said "you can mail it to us" WHO DOES THAT!! I have told so many people about this wonderful treasure with the two suits of armor at the entrance called "KNIGHT" and "DAY" Howard was a fantastic artist with a wonderful sense of humor and this trip was one of my very favorite places I had ever visited.
Been to this location. I used to live in Sarasota FL . This is a great roadside attraction that’s a must see when visiting the area. If you haven’t left I highly suggest visiting Myakka River state park and hike out to the “Deep Hole” where there’s about 100 wild alligators just laying out in the sun 🐊
What's sad is with all of today's regulations, permits etc, you wouldn't be able to create anything unique like this anymore. Life has been sterilized. Thanks govt

Smokey and the bandit baby!
Wow that is so damn amazing
I thought so too!
We been a few times when camping in Wachula haven't been in 7 years so glad they kept it going. Do they still have the automotive section
I believe they do 💯
I guessed right... Sol was only 5 foot tall... and he hand built the place so us taller folks have to duck quiet a bit haha
🤣

Strange that they wouldn't want cameras to show the place. Most places encourage it for free advertising.
I can totally understand. I hope it helps bring more folks through the doors
ALL RECYCLED MATERIALS
Wish I knew you were in my backyard I would have bought you lunch.
That’s so kind! Hopefully we cross paths soon 👊🏼
👍😎👍
Where did you say this is located?
It’s in Ona, Florida
👍👍😎♥️🇺🇸
Better treatment than the HD dealership gave you huh? 😂
Are you going to come to daytona bike week?.
Daytona isn’t in the cards for me this year 🤷🏼♂️
