You can always recycle the jeans with damage on them at American Eagle or Madewell and they get used for housing insulation instead of going to the landfills
Unfortunately I don’t have those stores near me.
@@lindsayvelarde You can also do Zappos for good. They will send you a free UPS shipping label, and then the jeans are recycled.
My last 2 denim boxes weren't that great either. I am not going to order for a while I rather spend my money at Goodwill or Salvation Army where I can pick the items. Thank you for sharing I am enjoying your videos!

Does ThUp inspect their garments or just send them as is? They should state "as is".
@@Chicago48 yes they are “DIY” so they have flaws but claim to be fixable
My understanding of the thread up denim boxes is that it is denim for crafts or upcycling and there will be various sizes. I wouldn't expect there to be much for resale. Right?
Yes so most of them I don’t usually sell. I’m usually hoping for 10-15 pieces I can list. And then the rest I keep or give to family or donate.
Got a 50lb jean box from Arizona today. Mine was awful too. Might make my money back. I usually buy a jean box every month but I'm taking a break. I've received 3 stinker jean boxes from Arizona. Lot's of tiny size skinnies with lots of puckering. Lots of torn up jeans, jeans with a lot of wear in the crotch/inner thigh area and kid's jeans in this box. I used to do well with these boxes but now just a big disappointment.

Maeve is a good brand!! Sells for me between $40-$65 I'm so sorry this box yuck!! If you have any kids 5-7 or women's 12 I'll take them for us :) I would definitely make a huge fit to thredup and let them know your going to post this awful box 😂 I've always been too chicken to buy one of these 😅
Ok I’ll check my donate pile again to see if there’s anything in those sizes. I kinda wish I waited to contact them because I was just so mad about all the kids pieces that I forgot to mention how many destroyed pieces there were.

Wow! I thought mine was bad. I would definitely had sent them a message! I probably would have about all the damage too. It's one thing to have one or two with that, but that many with ripped butts is ridiculous.
I know I kinda wish I would’ve waited to contact them because I didn’t realize that so many of them had severe damage until after I wrote to them.
She should have sent the box back and asked for a full refund and include pictures of the damage.
No more jeans boxes for you! 😀 It seems that these are the clothes that sellers sent in, ThUP didn't inspect or just put them in a pile of Rescue boxes.
IF you have a children's consignment shop nearby, take those children's clothing to the consignment shop. We have a few in Chi, don't know where you live.
