Although it’s just speculation for now, I think there will most definitely be something that happens between Jason and Lucia. If you listen to the song from the trailer by Tom Petty, it gives a good sense what the story is going to be about. I believe that if you are listen to the song through a perspective, it could possibly be Jason’s. In the song, it talks about how he knew a girl and how she cared about him. This leads me to think that Lucia will be the one to betray Jason. But then again, the song talks about how they were both desperate and also the song is called Love is a Long Road.

It’s a likely a decision based on what the player chooses. Either she betrays Jason, Jason Betrays Lucia, die together(someone would have to replace them though), or they don’t betray each other.

Agree, of all the Rockstar games that have massive betrayals, I hope GTA VI will not be one of them, Jason and Lucia seem perfect together
The story line is more than likely figured out, they used to date and rob places together like Bonnie and Clyde, she got caught, he didn't and when she got out she went back to him and they started robbing again and you can switch between characters and in the end he'll try to betray her and youll have the choice to kill him or not. Oh and strip clubs, better graphics expanded radio playlist and bigger map
You forgot to mention a big bad rich guy who offers Jason a huge payout to make some scores. And this will lead to their breaking out.
No lucia cheated on jason and eventually lucia needs to withdraw from society because shes labeled a whore. Eventually Jason will come looking for her (because of unfinished bussiness) and they hug but both have a knife and then the game ends

I really think Lucia is about to be this games Dutch. She’ll be really well written and people will love her.
But she’ll also be a master manipulator, look how she takes the lead of the robbery, how she’s stood over Jason telling him to trust her.

Lucia looks like a very interesting character. And the relationship between her and Jason looks very interesting as well. Its something new in gta games and I hope they stick to each other till the end, though Lucia gives a more psychotic vibe

If Jason betrays Lucia, it would be interesting to still being able to play as both of them plotting to kill each other. It'll also be interesting if they just had dumb luck and accidentaly screwed over some powerful people during a heist which lead to Lucia getting arrested and Jason going into hiding to plan a solution
Rockstar is capable of writing better stories than that now. Simple example could be RDR2. I personally think this betrayal scheme is not a part of being GTA even though it's been the theme of all GTA games, so they'll probably not do this (or if they do, not b/w the main characters).
If you stop to watch the normal trailer, it looks like the trailer wants to tell how Lucia went to jail

I’m going to say in the end you can choose to betray him as her, or her as him. Or if they go the GTA V route there will also be an “us against the world” option where both live that completely negates the weight of the choice.

I assume the next trailer will be the Jason trailer and it’s about both of them equally, just like how GTA V was with the three protagonists. When the first trailer for V dropped, we didn’t even know there were three leads and everyone assumed it was all about Michael.

This makes a lot of sense since there was a rumor that the characters would age through the story and I think lucia kinda looks a tad bit older in the jail scene. That part is probably the climax or the end sequence.
But then they just spoiled the end of the game for a cheap trailer ? I think thats the beginning of the story were she tells what happen and then we play.

I kinda want Jason to be the lead protagonist. It seems like Lucia is going to the lead or main protagonist.
Dual protagonists like how GTA V had three main characters. If it’s a Bonnie and Clyde situation, it might start with one being a bank robber who corrupts the other (Bonnie was originally just a waitress with an absent husband) or maybe he’s an undercover cop.

Jason seems like a generic white dude character. Lucia seems more interesting. It's rare to see a story about female criminals, sounds cool. Also, is it just me or people who prefer to play as characters of their gender are a little weird? It's almost feels childish, dunno. I mean, like people who associate themselves with main characters are a little strange. I never felt the need to associate myself with a character, it's a made up person with a different personality than mine. Especially in gta, where there almost no roleplay.
@@slvaltva1392 Nah just you. Given the option, most people tend to select or create the characters of their own gender, as seen in GTA 5 Online. This behavior is entirely normal and definitely not considered weird in the gaming community.
And yes people do associate themselves with gaming characters and movies too. Even actors have to relate to their made up character, are they weird😂?
RDR2 for Ex, literally allows players to shape Arthur Morgan's story through their choices and be part of that arc, You also get to customize him, giving him a different appearance. Isn’t that associating yourself with the character🤔?
Both Jason and Lucia are considered generic in their respective backgrounds, but the key distinguishing factor is Lucia's gender. If Lucia were male with a Latin background, the characterization might still be perceived as generic, emphasizing how gender plays a role in these perceptions. Nonetheless I’m happy and eager to see Rockstar’s take on Lucia. It will be interesting for sure

I think VI is going to be a mixture of IV and either A Way Out or Manhunt 2. Both doing whatever they can to survive another 24, but somewhere down the line, their loyalty to each other doesn't survive as they're forced to kill each other. Whether that be because he's secretly a fed (A Way Out), or if he's done something so henious that he's given Lucia no other choice but to end him (Manhunt 2).
All in all, I'm absolutely *LOVING* this Evil vibe Vice City gives off behind its glitz, glam and neon sunsets. Anybody who has ever visted Miami knows that all it takes is _one wrong turn_ off South Beach.

The trailer might be in reverse but then that liquor store robbery would probably be the first cutscenes since she's not wearing an ankle monitor in that shot in the trailer of her kicking the door open, Lucia then ends up in jail after getting arrested while Jason escapes, then he either breaks her out like the leaks said (which I doubt) or she gets out of jail regularly and wears that house arrest ankle monitor we see in the poster art for the beginning of the game and is later illegally taken off or taken off after her house arrest is over at some point. The vid you made might very well be the first opening mission in a sense

Yes the reverse theory is completely bullshit,the story is literally Bonnie and Clyde ,Bonnie met Clyde after she got out of jail ,Lucia met Jason during probation. They both serve prison time it’s a way to build up the story make them more convincing because Bonnie /Lucia was feeling hopeless about life until they become obsessed with a man ,and started a legendary criminal life

I feel like there’s gonna be an ending where they can betray, or stick together. But It does make sense that this would possibly be the prologue/introduction to the characters then we go into the present day world of gta6 to play in.

The undercover cop angle could be very unique to gta given you are a cop now. It was rumoured way back years ago, am pretty sure that would be the case here. And i sense a good story too, like rdr2, a good love story atleast.

They'll betray each other... If you think about the gameplay AFTER you finish the game, it's safe to assume they'll part ways by the end. They won't end up together 'cause doesn't make sense to have both characters near each other when you "switch" from one to the other. They have to be roaming around like in GTA5.
It might be like Red Dead Redemption where you play as someone else after the character is deceased
I think having a betrayal ending for either side or both live or both die option is a good choice, 3 options that include one or both characters however they could have a secret epilogue that includes a short story for a third protagonist where both we get to see the end result in that.
In the epilogue we'll be introduced to a new black African American character that we can explore as, we meet a few new characters in the epilogue story and it allows us to explore the life of the two dead bonnie and Clyde characters, see them on the news, see there old house or apartments, maybe even uncover secrets about them, once completed the first time he'll be available through all endings when starting a new game but only after their story is complete, his story will be available to play optionally.
I don't think this character will actually ever meet jason and lucia in canon, if the canon ending is them both dying he is simply an outsider type character, if it's canon that they both live then maybe we could get a dlc having them meet.

This cut of the trailer is SO much better. If modern Rockstar can't even get a trailer right, I have serious doubts about GTA 6 itself. Dan was the heart and soul of this company.
Rockstars trailers have a bad reputation for being... bad, in any case much worse than the game when it was released, here the trailer is very good and I don't understand in any way why it would be better in reverse, especially when you don't know how the game will start

On the subject of the dynamic weather... i hope they make some improvements, cuz ive been playing rdr2 again lately, and as much as i love that game, the weather constantly provides "wtf was that supposed to be?" Moments and it yanks me right out of any immersiveness the game created, ill be watching a straight up thunderstorm form, and then suddenly it just evaporates and its sunny like an actor that realized they rushed their cue, the game cant decide if its foggy or not, it randomly adds and removes clouds of fog and dust while they're in your field of view and its ultimately more distracting than immersive... i hope they look at what theyve got and either nail it or throw it out if its not working... and lets be real, when a map is maybe 6 miles across in any one direction, do we really need dynamic weather? Or does it make more sense to just use one continuous weather condition across the map at any given moment. Im all for innovation but if it doesnt work right leave it out of your billion dollar polished product...
I mean if it starts raining out of no where and than stops raining soon after, it wouldn't be so weird. South florida and miami is known to have crazy weather were its fine one moment and pouring the next, and than be fine again.
