Graphics look really good almost photorealistic, some buildings look like these old UE4 videos about realistic interiors, looks like we are actually getting to the point when games look that good. Gore system looks very good but there is still something that feels off about the combat, it seems like fighting zombies would get boring after few hours, maybe its more fun to play than watch or more abilities will make combat more diverse
Combat will probably get more interesting when you can get your hands on more varied weaponry with different effects, and can fight other kinds of zombies beyond the standard walkers.
The bodies move like they're weightless, maybe that was a stylistic choice for combat to have crazy knockdowns and such, but it doesn't give the same umph as like melee in Vermintide II did.
@@llJiggyFlyll They also dont seem to fall over almost ever, you slice them up like mannequins and they just stand there, even after special moves. Then they turn into ragdoll only when they are dead. Its the same thing that DL2 forgot about, prioritized animations over physics and ragdolls so fighting zombies was just boring because they always reacted to getting hit in the same way nvm after watching video some more I noticed they made it that if you want zombie to turn into ragdoll you need to hit their legs
Its the ragdoll physics beacuse the gore and animations are fine even though they went too far with the blood like it looks red paint instead of dark red liquid like in Dead Island 1. Dead Island 1 looks more fun beacuse the combat is more grounded in reality. Its the classic Gta 4 is better than Gta 5 while Gta 5 is more shinny and upgraded tech,it lost the gritty tone and dark aesthetic. I remember there was a time where people were sick of dark and gritty games but now they are sick of comedy and light hearted games, human's don't know what they want it's kinda baffling.

I thought Ryan would be the most boring, standard protag, but I really like his delivery at 13:35 watching his firefighter spirit try and fail to save people could be good
And the fact that he's just keeping the appearance of a firefighter in order to escape the zeds makes him endearing. Fake it till you make it, I guess.

I guess it has to be specifically mentioned since in some other "very realistic" survival games you can be nearly hacked apart and... no special status effects will happen. At least here MC is somewhat zombified during prologue, so all further injuries do not bother him for long) P.S. And yes, Ryan's initial reaction is... unfortunate, but believable.
Mate I love Dead Island I have the first 2 games to play with and knowing that dead island 2 it's getting out it's Exciting because they take time to do with details and makes sense that the team take a while to do

Me and buddy are thinking about getting the game but are kinda scared if its like cyberpunk 2077 but gonna watch your awesome playthrough to see if it's worth buying and i do admit as a zombie fan and did like dead island 1 it so far seems impressive enough

@@youtubeisracistx Cyberpunk was 7 nearly 8 years in developement but was still unfinished. After 6 months of patches and bug fixes It was done but as far as I know there is are still things that got teased but are not in in the game
PLEASE let this game sell well after all it's been through to get released. PLEASE let this franchise continue strong, I don't want to wait another decade for Dead Island 3 or hope that Techland pick themselves up from the disappointing Dying Light 2!
I think everyone should take ryan as their slayers for the first time bcs he as blocking ablilities. Dodging zombies is really hard in this game. I took Amy as my first but her passive is regaining stamina. The zombies can be overwhelming at start so i died a couple of times.
i chosed amy as my first slayer and will be my main cus of her dodge ability. plus im a girl so im obliously gonna choose female charcters lol. butbi do still pick males characters sometimes tbh. but when you reach level 18 the slayer dont really matter tbh. edit: i forgot too mention that i did not die with amy. the only time i do die is when i kill myself on purpose to respawn enemies and items and ammo for my pistol.

This games rom is not capable of matching the Nintendo Switch’s performance. Maybe in a future Nintendo console, this game might be available to everyone on Nintendo. Nintendo first has to negotiate licensing agreements with this game company before they can bring it to a future Nintendo console.
Despite the fancy graphics, the gameplay still looks the same which wasn't anything to write home about in the first game, I was hoping after 9 years We would at least have combat that didn't look like shit
Oh awesome, stomping heads isn't a skill that needs to be unlocked anymore. Character seems unbearable but gameplay wise looks like it's going to be worth it

Never thought this game would ever see the light of day. It's been almost a decade since the trailer came out.

It is made using older versions of Unreal Engine 4.

You know it's a great game when in the first 10minutes you can only relate to one single character, that is the most normal out of the bunch
