Chris is the reason I stopped watching EMBN, when he said he wanted ebike specific trails for bigger jumps I was done. Go to the Moto trails if you want bigger (powered) jumps.

Lol ebikes are pretty fun tho. They’ve allowed me the same exercise as riding an acoustic but allow me to ride more trails and dh than an acoustic. I personally enjoy ebikes

Yeah have fun mine takes about five hours straight of pedaling in boost to run our if you do trails can last you all day with just a 500 battery
Are you kidding me! Chris got the easier bike and the extra letter and then claims he won. Of course the ebike would pull the jeep, its got twice as much torque as Blake's legs, but Chris had already lost and I'd like to see him pull the car on a normal bike!

I don't like E-Bikes and I don't care about EMBN, but the EMBN-Jersey is absolutely on point. Great design (for the E-Bike thing). Blake is great.
Each to their own i guess. And i do think e-bike are a wonderful invention for a lot of people for different reasons, but for me aged 35 cycling means powered by my legs.

I've read your responses, seems like you're just lazy. If you want a powered bike, get a fucking dirtbike and have more fun than an ebike. Or take a regular bike and have more fun than an ebike. Pushing yourself is part of the fun with cycling. Ebikes are the worst of both worlds.

MarchuxProductions I guess all the pro XC and downhill MTB riders who are running eBikes (most of them) are just lazy. I run and open water swim and love to grind out some fitness, but emtb is just pure fun whilst also keeping you fit.
@@jamsxr most of the pro riders I've seen use ebikes use them on "off" rides, or when they just want to mess about. For serious training, they still use traditional bikes. So, yes, you could say they are being lazy. I will admit though, downhill ebikes make sense, bacause they're heavy already and you don't really pedal much going downhill anyway, so a boost going back uphill is nice.
The few ebikes I've tried have all seemed overassisted, which takes a lot of fun out of it for me. With how little effort I was putting in, I wasn't really feeling like I was doing any real work. Honestly, at that point, I'd much rather be riding a motorbike.
Maybe my dislike for ebikes comes from the fact I live in a really flat country and do mostly city riding on my big gear singlespeed or fixie and XC MTB, but whenever I see someone on an ebike, I can't help but feel like they're a total pansy. And let's be real, unless they have a medical condition, you really don't need assistance around here. Having that much assist really takes away from actually cycling. Besides, dropping ebikes on a 40+ year old steel singlespeed is just pure fun.
MarchuxProductions haha - fair enough. Just don’t paint us all with the same brush. Where I live there are lots of short sharp climbs and downhill runs. It’s great on my MTB, but if I’m tired or just want to get in a load of runs, the eBike is amazing.
In the head to head runs u can clearly see how heavy the ebike is. Looks like jumping a double with an elefant instead of a gazelle
Blake probably has the nicest jeep build out there. Not over the top at all. Just perfect.
The E-bike will bring so many more people into the sport and they will enjoy the outdoors and open there eyes.
This was good, but slopestyle at Crankworx Innsbruck was hero status. Seriously the most entertaining s**t I've seen all year !!!

Some people are taking this way too seriously saying it was 'unfair' etc and 'blake shoulda won'. The point of this (sponsored) video was clearly to showcase the strengths of an e-bike compared to a non-ebike, not just to see who is the better rider.

Lot of people complaining about the unfair challenges and how Chris has it easier. Isn’t that kind of the point? Of course it’s easier on an e-bike. Thats why people buy them. This video isn’t a serious competition obviously, it’s two friends messing around and having fun.

My Enduro has DHRII 27.5x 2.8 rear and 29x3.0 DHF front. This combo is awesome for climbing slippy stuff. Nice Jeep by the way. The fun ones are manuals.

A lot of people buy e-bikes because the places they want to go are in their opinion too far to ride a normal bike. So if someone rode an e-bike with pedal assist instead of driving their car it would not make them “out of shape.”

You could get a lot more power with clipped pedals. Don't understand how you can ride with flat pedals and not be afraid of losing your footing on the pedals...
When doing tricks and big drops it's much more fun to have the freedom that flat pedals offer. It's also a lot safer! Clipless would have been better for the climbs and the Jeep though! 😂
