This is my first year of my Translation and Interpretation and Modern Languages degree. I am currently studying French & German and my mother tongue is Spanish. I was wondering: What languages can you speak and what did you do to learn more and improve your language skills?

Thanks a lot for the nice comment :) I speak Swiss German, German, French and English. Plus, learning Hungarian and Dutch on the side :) The best way to improve your language skills is immersion, i.e. going to a country where the language is spoken and being forced to use it. When I was 4 weeks in remote places of Argentina, I was forced to learn/speak Spanish and made so much progress.
Special thanks for all the work and piece of advice you provide here -from a 25-34 French translator :)
