Wowza! Some gorgeous colors in that Bowenite. Really liked the area you guys were exploring and finding the material. You chose some excellent specimens. You've got an eye for finding nice rocks and cutting and shaping them. Very nice video. Rock on 😁🤘
Glad you enjoyed it! It's been fun to explore this material. I've found lots of serpentine but nothing like this. It's nice to work with. Bowenite is much softer than chalcedony, so cutting and carving is a lot easier. Cheers! 😎👍
Believe it or not Andrew told me where to go and at the exactly 4 minute and 20 seconds Mark in this video the piece that you're holding in your hand that you toss on the ground I literally have in my rock tumbler as we speak! So funny it was the first one I found all busted up on the ground there was like three or four pieces of it. Hahaha it's an amazing green color.
That's awesome, make sure to post and show us how it turns out. I've been carving it and so far, I like what I'm seeing. That spot is pretty don't you think? I hope to see you out there sometime. 😊✌
very nice broseph, the color sure is something
That was a nice day out and that is some really pretty stone.

What kind of saw are you using? Any hints where you were hounding finding this material?
I'm Using a Hitech 10-inch Saw. Hint: Where I was hounding is underwater presently.
Where can I buy a chunk for my heart carving?
