great video Tim, the a&b that I see are too difficult fore a newbie yours are easier to follow and to understand. I strogele with the set up of my DB. in the a way, do you need a something like a headtabel? ( i see in another samples the use a account tabel, but i don't need a account tabel in my setup ) I know the anchor tabels that want/need ,but its more in the way to set them up?
Thank you, Wally! Most databases do not have one single table that is the "head" or "center" of the system. Some systems do need an account table, but you should not worry about that until the solutions you are building start to get pretty advanced.
@@AccelerateComputerTraining oke Tim ,so if my DB has the tabels clients,invoices,invoice-lines,treatments, podothepeuts ( those are the tabels that I need) I don't need a nother tabel? And are tax is different than the UK ,here in the Netherlands we using Btw with ,is that also a tabel?
@@MrDiertje I cannot advise you confidently about what tables you need without knowing the entire scope of what your database solution needs to do. However, yes, tax rates should probably be its own table.
@@AccelerateComputerTraining ,thx foure youre answer. the databae is for my pedicure company. my clients consist of 2 types of clients. private clients and clients referred by various podiatrists who paid payments for these people. these people receive a treatment plan for a whole year, which varies from person to person. that can be 4,5,6,7,8 or 10 treatments per year. no more treatments may be carried out than they are entitled to that year. warning when the treatment ends would be nice. I have made several tables, but just like in start example veterinary clinic not according to anchor buoy method.
