FIFA 98 RTWC was the best. Almost all national teams, qualifying stage, great gameplay... I miss that. When they started with Ultimate Team they destroyed the franchize.
For me Fifa 99 will always have a special nostalgic place. Played it right up to 2001. I was 12 when I got Fifa 99, a good friend got me hooked when we played Fifa 98, road to World Cup and World Cup 98. Even when Fifa 2000 came out, it’s the squads being so empty, I found myself still going back to Fifa 99. Still ended up getting Fifa 2001 and kept firing up Fifa 99 once in a while because of its gameplay for its time. Had all the Fifa games from Fifa 99 up to Fifa 15. Then gave it a miss until Fifa 17. Then Fifa 19, gave it all a miss until now with Fifa 23.
It‘s funny how in FiFa 2003 edgar davids and roberto carlos show their skills and ryan giggs just looks in the cam😂 I miss this old time fifa player since 2002.
