The Chicago Bulls, Curse of Youth

I think with a distinct lack of real established options on this chicago roster they’ll look to really expand their depth chart and experiment with some frankenstein esque lineups that might leave us scratching our heads in the short term but I’m always one to let a roster cook.

Well, considering they loose DeMar, the Bulls don't seem stronger now than in the last years. I like a lot some players like Zack, Patrick and White but I think the roster lacks that mature superstar who can make a difference as a leader and score

When did they build around Zach?

Assembling vooch and demar were their best attempts to date to make a legitimate "big 3" and it didn't exactly pan out

@@TwoForOnehoops That wasn't a build around Zach. Demar and Zach are identical in how they play, mostly ISO. He took the ball out of Zach's hands which made him stand around waiting when Zo got hurt. Now Zo was a great part of that build and that was correct. But I said that team would fail because you had Zach, Derozan, and Vuc who can't play defense. That's why Zo and Caruso were run down. Zo and Caruso were perfect next to Zach but a defensive center and forward would have been a better fit. I like Pat but he never got to play much with Zo, Caruso, and Zach. For center, the Bulls needed a shot block more in the lines of what the Mavs did. I would have even liked a Rudy Gobert although he is no lob threat. So they never built correctly around Zach. I actually like the team this year better than last year for Zach to excel.
