  • "Loving me is not a joke"
Section 8:Jesse describes a single-parent family living in financial distress, about to be evicted (Section 8 refers to a housing voucher for low-income families).
Jesse losing his place of residence as a child was such a traumatic event that he cannot finish his sentence but, as we can deduce from the topic and the rhyme scheme, the last lyric here is missing the word “home.”
Got our names tattooed on each other : Jesse realmente se tenía tatuado "Annie" por su ex novia, y pues, valió pija como podemos ver.
Who's gonna catch me when I fall?
    Part II: Valentines
“Valentines” is an instrumental piece in which Jesse can be heard reciting a poem faintly in the background. You can hear waves crashing and birds cawing in the song, capturing the California beach, a theme the album seems to center around.
Iced tea is a form of cold tea, and lemonade is a lemon flavoured drink which can be served carbonated or still. Arnold Palmer is a beverage of iced tea and lemonade, named after the American golfer Arnold Palmer.
Considering these two beverages are delicious when mixed together, it seems that Jesse is emphasizing that him and his loved ones are amazing together.
He is saying that his relationships with his loved ones are cherished and that he wants long and loving friendships; he is friends with these people because he cares about them, not for any other reason. The word “soaking” can also relate to the “iced tea” and “lemonade” metaphor used throughout this section of the song.
