I've followed this video also using a gmail account same port no's etc but I receive the error "Failed to send test message" can you think of any reason why this might be? Any help would be great as I can't figure it out :( Many thanks!
All other instructions were good, but nowadays you will need to allow "Less Secure Apps" in the Google account settings and use SMTP port 587, NOT 465.

got it to work by using smtp port 587 and turning on 2 step authentication.
Be sure and RESTART YOU NVR when completed. Mine would not work until after restart
Hi I'm try to do that but I get an email also warn about some one try to get access email and it blocks it how get round this ?
