@@djanon22 Issac, professionals DO NOT make a full professional track in about an hour. Typically an industry standard track will take MUCH MORE time than that...
Once you know how to program bears and have short cuts, it takes no brain power to make this shit. It's not like death grips or kanye tier production. You can do this too homie
I'd love to see your take on the "hyperpop" kids that have gone to straight up pop. Artists like glaive, ericdoa, and aldn to name a few

This is an excellent video Austin. Very relatable - I use Cubase too - and your techniques are duly noted for this genre. I wrote/recorded a pop-punk demo song a month or two ago and I'll be applying these techniques for sure. I may need to shell out a few quid on some plugins though.

i was hoping youd explain more about the formula than the production. For example, key sigs, chord progs, structure, riffs and runs and shit.
Fair, that's just not how I personally make music. I just listen, subconsciously pick up on the main themes and then run with it.
I'll keep that in mind for future production videos though!
For pop punk, it's mainly just tempo between 160-180 BPM, write in a major key, for the riff you only need a couple notes, and structure is normally just verse, prechorus, chorus, verse, prechorus, chorus, bridge, chorus.
