- TEACH THE WORD 2023 took place in Oxford on 24th June 2023, featuring special guest speaker Pastor Jack Hibbs (CC Chino Hills) along with UK Calvary Chapel Pastors Tommy Fretwell (CC Hastings / Ezra Foundation), Kevin Berthiaume (CC Cardiff) and Steve Vickery (CC Oxford).
The theme of the conference was "Spiritual Warfare: Standing Strong in the Last Days"
TEACH THE WORD is Calvary Chapel UK's annual national Bible teaching conference for all the family, featuring bible teaching for the adults, a special programme for youth, and children's ministry and creche. Teach the Word 2024 will take place on Saturday 29th June 2024 at the King's Centre, Oxford.

When Pastor Jack mentioned about “feeling something big coming” I had one of those, “YOU FEEL IT TOO?!” moments! I’m not kidding you!
God has been working on and in me preparing me for something that’s grave, insidious, and evil. It started about 3-4 weeks ago, maybe longer. Is that “discerning?”
Fellow believers and followers of our risen LORD and Savior, please pray for our nation, our leaders in govt and ESPECIALLY our Pastors!
The LORD has been “impressing” me, if I cas use that term, to pray against the wickedness that all their evil plans would absolutely IMPLODE on themselves & that they would be driven to destroy each other.
LORD Jesus come soon. Bring revival to me first, then, if You so will it, use me, use my mouth, use my resources, use my life, to honor and respect you. All of it, for Your glory.

Jack is here in the U.K.? I met the Lord in 1978, in Costa Mesa, at Calvary Chapel, with Chuck Smith ! Now, I live in "Swansea Wales"! I attend a church in Birch Grove, Swansea Wales, built in 1792, with 9 people, 4 of which are the pastors family. The need of more people is obvious. We need help getting people to our services. Are you coming back to the U.K. ?

In defense regarding Pastor Jack's pre-trib views: he had a 3-4 part podcast series on the rapture/end times and you can find it on his You Tube channel: Real Life With Jack Hibbs. He dedicated one entire podcast to the mid and pre-trib views and how he has arrived at the pre-trib view. (Of note; he said he was pre-trib; then post-trib; then after studying scripture was pre-trib again--so I'm sure if one asked him why he has that view, he can give you the scriptures that support his view).

Pastor Jack: Joshua and Caleb were the only two of the original adult Israelites brought out of Egypt that were allowed to enter the Promised Land from the Wilderness. WHY? Because they DID have courage! They were the only two of twelve spies Moses sent to look over the Promised Land that gave a positive go forth report and appeal to the congregation of Israelites to cross the Jordan and take the land as God had instructed. Because of the UNBELIEF of the Israelites and their refusal to trust God, they spent an additional 38 years wandering in the Wilderness. God repeatedly told Moses Caleb and Joshua would be the only two to cross into the Promised Land.
God is encouraging Joshua to continue in his courage and strength and confirming He WILL be with him as He was with Moses to comfort Joshua. To say Joshua had no courage is just wrong. 🙏

We did an in depth study of the book of Joshua. What an amazing leader he was! First and foremost, he was scrupulously obedient but also wise and courageous, I think.

When I hear Pastors say we need to read the bible literally, then immediately they throw out their own advice. In Jn6:39-40,44,54. Jesus said he would raise (Resurrect) believers on the LAST DAY. These same Pastors and teachers, deny what Jesus just taught. There is NO pre-trib rapture. If you don't believe me, show ONE scripture that teaches it?

Going through trials and tribulations is not the same as going through The Wrath, The Day of Jacob’s Trouble, i.e, THE Tribulation. Read your WHOLE Bible
Wow. Your Bible isn't like my Bible. My Bible has multiple teachings regarding the Rapture (Resurrection of Saints). Since you don't believe in the Rapture I guess you don't believe in the Resurrection either... hmmm.... questioning God's Plan of Salvation? It's complete with His Promise that His Children will be saved from His Wrath. Why? Because our sins were dealt with at Calvary. The Rapture and the Resurrection are interchangeable event terms, btw.
Get a copy of the Expositor's Study Bible. It's King James 1611 version with commentary throughout that explains verses through other verses: the Bible interpreting the Bible...which is how God designed it and the Holy Spirit had it recorded.
You can find these Rapture verses here:
I Thessalonians 4: 13-18; 5:9; I Corinthians 15: 51-58 (read all of chapter 15 for context); II Thessalonians 2: 3-7 ; John 14: 3; Revelation 3:10. There is also verse in the Old Testament that reference the Rapture: Daniel 12: 2 ( Speaking of the First Resurrection of Life, the Rapture and , the Second Resurrection, the Resurrection of Damnation).
@@PEACETOU The rapture and the resurrection are the same thing. Where in my statement do you see me teach NO resurrection? Pre-tribers not only twist the word of God, but they also twist my replies. To prove your ignorance of God's word. The verses you listed 1Thes4:13-18/ 1Cor15:51-58 / 2Thes 2:3 Are resurrection passages. However, 1Thes5:9/ 2Thes2:4-7/ Jn14:3 and Rev3:10 SAY NOTHING about resurrection, and especially NOTHING about a pre-trib rapture. As far as 1Thes5:9 We are not appointed to WRATH. This is 100% true. However, you pre-tribers twist the word of God, and teach the tribulation period is the wrath of God. Thats a false teaching. So, how long is the WRATH? Rev6:17 DAY. Rm2:5 DAY. Zeph 1:15,18 DAY. Thats why we are not appointed to wrath just like Paul taught. Unlike pre-trib false teachers who ADD a 7 year tribulation into Gods word. This is also, why Jesus taught in Jn6:39-40,44,54. Jesus said he would raise (Resurrect) believers on the LAST DAY. Of course, you pre-tribers deny these scriptures just like Paul said you would. 2Tm4:3-4

Jack hibbs has become incredibly rich with his so-called preaching the truth. I don't remember Christ or the apostles becoming rich in money. You will know false preachers by the way they live!
He speaks rich in faith
He and Lisa have lived in, raised their family in, and remain in the same modest house they bought as a fixer upper when they moved to Chino Hills. He puts most of his money back into his ministries. The channel they launched is not requiring a fee to stream or fees from anyone that wishes to put their messages or children’s program on it. I would be very careful. The Bible says “touch not my anointed” which includes slander. I’m not a part of any Calvary Chapel church, but I found Jack Hibbs and Barry Stagner during COVID online and they both preach nothing but the Bible- the whole Bible!!! Jack Hibbs promotes a book of the month each month geared for personal growth. I have called to order many books and they take ANY donation for it. I have a book that is a $75 hardback that they took a $10 donation for as I could not afford more. I have always been able to discern when something is of God or not and when I got a chance to hear Jack at a conference I went. He walks the talk he talks. Even his dress is modest. God has blessed his ministry hand over fist and he is the kind of man of God we need for such a time as this. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to offend, but I have seen what can happened to those who malign a true man/woman of God. I hope God opens your heart to the truth.

He never said anything remotely like that, It's heretical that you would think you have arrived and are perfect and never sin because either # 1. Your lying or #2. your dead, because we all sin and fall short. And that's what he's talking about what he's saying is: this is the Christian struggle! we fight temptation in our thoughts and mind when we are attacked we grab it and wrestle with it we fight and battle with it and when we lose the battle and it happens sometimes we feel terrible and we are miserable after but that doesn't mean I go get saved again you do that once and you move on to a deeper relationship with God. Listen if you could lose your salvation you would have lost it by now! You cannot keep yourself saved its the holy spirits job to keep you saved listen it wasnt yours to keep in the first place...why? Because you cant do it. Its impossible!if you could save yourself then why did Jesus die? and so how does god keep you saved?? Through santification, washing and regeneration of the holy spirit that indwells inside you. To further my point I want to remind you that when you go before God on the day you die. Are you going to remind him that you have kept the 10 commandments you always tithe 10% you never miss a sunday at church and you always say your prayers before you go to bed? or are you going to say Jesus paid my ransom with his blood at the cross, he put his holy spirit in me and I trusted in him to deliver me and finish the work that he started in me to get me to heaven..now who's going to get in to heaven?? The one who said I'm perfect and never sinned or the one that says I'm a sinner but Jesus did it all to save me? Ask yourself that question.

That is really legalistic thinking!! Good luck with never sinning. Jesus knew we could not live a perfect life. That is why He died on the cross. We are righteous because of Jesus paying the price by dying to save us. Praise You God for sending Jesus to pay my debt. Because I love the Lord I desire to walk righteously but that does not mean I will not sin.
