Hey Droodles, I am new and learning Blitz around 6 months, just got my first few tier 10's (48%) and this breakdown and heavy strategy of each map is the #1 MOST helpful video I've seen on youtube for us new players to learn how to play the game . This must have taken a lot of time, experience and thought to create this video and this will help us learn the game much faster so we can all have a better gaming experience together . We already won a few matches just after watching this video and understanding where to go and how the maps work, especially with the overhead map explanations . This nub just wanted to say Thank You . We appreciate you and keep making great tutorials . Cheers !
Making great points on this vid Droodles.. it’s like the maps were designed to split meds and heavies but as you point out the best strategy most of the time to win is for heavies to be able to support meds and vice versa.. be interesting to see if Wargaming ever changes this approach for any future map design.. excellent vid .. keep it up 👍🏻
Nice video droodles! I played 70K games and most of it sounds absolutely right. Well explained as well. I just like to challenge you on the Normandy map superheavy play style, I've won quite a few games against absolute monsters (superunicums) trying to control the 'Normandy hill'. If you get more tanks on the high side of the map compared to the enemy team (C,D cap), you are allowed to push your superheavy near the base (encounter) / plane. From this position it's really easy to keep enemy team spotted and farm damage on flanking meds. Also in the beginning of the game, you can get sideshots in on the ones pushing the middle hill. This strategy works really well for me and had lots of games where being in this position gave our team a massive advantage. Anyways super nice video, keep it up and massive help for any beginning/intermediate player. Please challenge me if you think I'm wrong on this one, but do it nicely ❤
Let’s hope the toon of camping 40% wr e100s both with under 600 battles watch this. On dead rail the e100s were camping at the weird td spot in the back corner on the med side
For supremacy, no matter the map, the best strategy for me, I find, is to take areas where there are two cap bases close to each other, always the heavy side cap bases, if the whole team pushes those heavies can be taken out fairly fast and then you can hold and defend the two cap bases, you will definitely win on points
By far, one of your best videos I've seen! I would like to see more of this. Especially MAP strategies. This is how you'll help SO MANY players! Getting people on the same page is key to better gaming for us all. I'm not gonna lie. I need MAP help more than anything.
Finally a great tutorial. This game really needed such videos. I feel like 10% of the players understand how to play this game. Pls make same structure for mediums, Russian heavies, td etc. Great job.
So here is another idea for you AIMING IN YOUR SHOTS. If you look at (13:52) you are aiming at a spot on the lower hull and the round actually drops a lot from the distance you are at. When you shot at the Maus (22:20) it actually went up and to the left slightly. These shots are very interesting as in a battle with slight movement I wonder if they would miss or would they hit. I am pointing this out because I have been getting so many missed shots (83% accuracy at over 50K games) that I think there is something going on with the aiming. I even aim in completely with a very accurate gun and miss. Snap shots are penning less and not even hitting most of the time so just wondering if they did something (not something good) to the aiming. Keep up the training it is really needed. I would also encourage you to talk about the lineups on each team before going to these typical spots.
Even tho this is a great tip but in faust people are very used to go into the ramps that if all the team goes there the heavies from the other ramp will push and flank you , alot of good tips but with alot of problems
Your tutorial videos have helped me a lot. Especially in the map positioning videos. I was able to increase my wr by a good amount.(tbh I pretty much don’t care about my stats, just play for fun)
Awesome video. Can't wait for a video about TDs. I get frustrated quite often because as a turret less TD I can't really do much to carry a dying team :/ I can't reliably snipe, and I can't reliably go frontline because I just become an easy target.
Tds aren't meven made to carry teams, most are for support. I get how you can carry a losing team with a Jagd or E3, but most Tds rely on ream, like the grille, and some like the 4005 are for support.
Thank you for the great video..!!! Hope you get the views.. there are people like me who wish everybody will see these videos....!!!! Keep up the good work!!!! I wish I find a way to become better with mediums...
I think all of the super heavies are good side scraping tanks not hulldown so that's why they go to town areas where they can easily side scrape and block damage
