I brought the same phone just got the black instead. 8g 256g snapdragon 870. I paid 349.00 usd for the global version on Amazon. Had the phone for a week now. I noticed that no one really speaks about the cooling system on the Poco f3 5g. So I'll tell you from first hand experience. This phone has internal cooling. During heavy usage one side of the phone sucks in cool air and the other side pushes the hot air out. You can barely hear and feel the fan motor. But if you place your face by the speakers during heavy usage... You will feel suction bye the speakers up top. And you'll feel the hot air being blown out bye the speakers on the bottom. Poco f3 5g has active liquid cooling plus an exhaust system with a fan. You add it all up... Snapdragon 870 + cooling system = a budget phone that can out preform most flagship phones. This phone is actually better than most flagship phones with the new snapdragon 888 due to all the overheating issues of the 888. Only the Rog can utilize the full potential of 888. So in real life gaming situations. The global Poco f3 5g will out preform most 888. And for the price... It's unbeatable. I'm emulating Ps2 games and using it for codm. It's worth the money. It even gets 5g with at&t in my area. This phone is so fast... It takes longer to run a security scan then it takes to download a file. Lighting quick. With an actual working active liquid cooling system on a smartphone. This phone is the best 300.00 investment of my life. If you're thinking about buying this phone... Stop thinking and buy it already. Before they raise the price. Go for the one with 8g of ram and 256g of storage... I promise you that you won't regret it
Thanks for that was always curious about actual Chinese brand phones since I keep hearing good things about them actually performing better than Korean or Japanese phones (Samsungs and Sonys seem to always throttle) yet I haven’t heard that with xiaomis at least with emulation.

I got the phone and I love it. Just a little info about Amazon prime: even though the f3 got Widevine l1, it will not support HD, because the phone is not on the internal whitelist. This happens with a lot of Xiaomi related devices by the way.
@@ETAPRIME Sadly Xiaomi has been postponing widevine support ever since 2019, and I don't think they have any plans to add it especially to their Poco lineup where Xiaomi has purposefully tried to gimp the poco phones through software limiters, most prominently in their camera app. The poco f1's custom gcam produces much better image quality than the stock MIUI camera for a reason.
I ordered mine like 2 days ago! 350 euros in Amazon for the model with the 8gb ram plus more storage, since you cant use an SD card was a no brainer, the ram was a non issue but the extra storage is well worth the extra money, I was making my research and narrowed it down to the poco X3 pro and the poco F3, I am quite happy I went for the poco F3, seems to be a beast of a phone for almost half the price of other similar spec phones out there, next step buy a GameSir X2 controller and will have my dream hand held emulation station, ahhaha o yeah and a phone and camera also included but who cares about that :P
@@awesomeferret true that, but in this particular case I don't mind, price tag between version was very reasonable and I am still scratching my head on how they managed to lower the price so much for the specs, I have the phone for almost a week now and I am so happy, is an emulation tiny beast, only thing that is total garbage is the camera (my old moto g8 with same mega pixels was better) guess they cut most of the price there, but since I don't care at all about it, it was still a very good deal, cant believe it can run most game cube games at full speed if you keep graphic setting at native resolution, and software is also not half bad, with new update they fixed some nasty bugs that ppl were reporting and haven't had any issues so far.
What about the screen? It's Amoled display right? I plan to buy F3 too, but the display concern me You know, amoled burn in and such. Citra emulator has 1 still screen, I worried it would burn the screen and leave a square mark around
@@giantalbinoeel screen looks good, its amoled with 120hz refresh rate, but dunno how picky you are, for me the only complain is the proximity sensor it sucks, you have to turn off the screen manually each time you want to use it to talk to someone which is really annoying, other than that the phone is a beast for the price range, I got it for a bit of retro emulation and all games I wanted to play, up to game cube and Nintendo wii work flawlessly heck I have laptops that cant even manage to run games that this phone can.

Some people have too much money to burn, they would even buy it if it would cost 1500$. And of course brands a.k.a. status symbols. You could also buy a Poco F3 and glue 1k$ on the back.

Same here still f1, but the thing I hate about xiaomi phone is it's never bug free, and even if you complain about those update in the forum u can be sure there will be no support the rom dev team is sooo tone deaf they care more in looks than function.
@ArtBuffalo tell that to truck manufacturers and if your driving a heavy truck, which many others have access to, do you really want to connect to it, the 3.5 analogue cable is quick easy and secure.

It's my phone, very good phone, it could have been better if it had retained a couple of things from the X3 Pro, like the microsd and the minijack. It's a blast, really, really fast and powerful, very responsible. The only real downside is using MIUI.
You can use special adapters called "Displaylink".....they also work on Xiaomi phones. Eta made also a video for some special adapters which will work on all phones.
The camera can't do 4k 60fps because the included sensor is not rated for it. In my opinion they made a poor choice with that one but it's still a good phone

Finally, a phone at a price point where the 1080p screen isn't offensive gaslighting. Yes, I'm still sore that we don't have 1440p in many sub 500 dollar phones like we used to 5 years ago (plenty of THOUSAND DOLLAR phones have 1080p now). Just because peu can't tell the difference doesn't mean you get to argue against science, the human eye can very obviously tell the difference at these large screen sizes and it's now sort of a principle thing (I pay 1000 dollars for 1080p when I can get a used phone for 80 bucks with 1440p and it won't have burn in risks due to LCD). Still disappointed how you never point out how much worse 1080p looks at these screen sizes, it is getting to the point of suspicion since you have been asked about this many times before. It's a moral argument at this point, we should NOT be paying more for less.
I was considering buying poco x3 pro because it's cheaper and seems to handle the games I want to emulate plus it has a sd card slot. Then I saw you unboxing this phone and damn it looks so nice and is thinner and I love the feeling of the glass in the back like in my current phone, x3 pro has a plastic back which while being sturdier might not feel the same and I like how Poco f3 looks in the pack more. I'm used to LCD screens but those colors look so nice :( Sadly the 128gb version will be full very fast with how I use my storage and the 256gb model is far more expensive here for nearly 100€ compared to the difference between Poco x3 pro 128gb and 256gb which is like 20€ for some color version :( And with x3 pro I could enjoy having both a big internal storage and sd slot

Those are the cover sheet prices - when you actually go to the product page it has you select a "color" for all the different models, and the actual lowest price I've found so far is $523 on there. Yes, on a listing that said $349 - it's how aliexpress prices always work, though. (One of the more frustrating things about it IMO is trying to ACTUALLY find a good price when the first 200+ you click are different than what they say on the search page) edit: And yes, that's on the 128/6 one. The 256/8 is even higher priced, of course, as is expected. But yeah, $523+ on the F3 128GB model - the cheapest one they have. Definitely not "budget" at that point... you're less than 100 away from brand name high-end models, at that point. Or even flagship lines from some brands once you hit that 600 price point...

Was considering this , since budget and emulation are big on my priorities. However.. no HDMI out over usbC is a deal breaker. It'll be the Black shark 4 for me.
Android 11 is causing a lot of issues with apps that access the microSD. I think the Dolphin emulator is considering dropping support for running games stored on microSD because of this. I miss expandable storage too, but there might not be many high-end phones that support it soon.

Poco F3 is a beast, I have it and I can't seem to stop it, League Of Legends Ultra at 120Hz Oled is another experiencie, excellent phone, and paired with the GCAM (google camera), is a beast, no phone can fight this beast at that price

I bought it at launch everything is great HOWEVER last night all of my Bluetooth controllers and usb c ones start acting weird they dont work correctly in games and in citra and dolphin i cant map the analog and the dpad they dont get recognized im not the only one some on reddit having this as well can you please confirm ?

You should definitely Present more Smartphones with Games and Emulator. However please show US how we can Transfer it to Monitor or smart TV. Via Cable or just streaming Lan. Yes, on a listing that said $349 - it's how aliexpress prices always work, though. (One of the more frustrating things about it IMO is trying to ACTUALLY find a good price when the first 200+ you click are different than what they say on the search page)
edit: And yes, that's on the 128/6 one. The 256/8 is even higher priced, of course, as is expected. But yeah, $523+ on the F3 128GB model - the cheapest one they have. Definitely not "budget" at that point... you're less than 100 away from brand name high-end models, at that point. Or even flagship lines from some brands once you hit that 600 price point...
@@ArtemisKitty If I'm being honest, ordering a refurbished iPhone 11 from the Apple site is alot better, headache free and you get that guranteed 6 years of software updates and indefinite security updates. Much better than having to use sites like aliexpress. Not to mention that iphones tend to have much better gaming performance even against phones with better SoCs

@@ArtemisKitty The prices often fluctuate based on the destination country and the shipping country, but I've just double checked and it's still 349 + 6 usd for shipping to Bulgaria from China for the 128/6 model. The listing I'm looking at is from the Poco official store on AliExpress.
Was considering this , since budget and emulation are big on my priorities.

Android 11 is causing a lot of issues with apps that access the microSD. I think the Dolphin emulator is considering dropping support for running games stored on microSD because of this. I miss expandable storage too, but there might not be many high-end phones that support it soon.

Interesting SD card is a big deal for u guys but for me headphone jack is a must I cant live without it why I need stereo speakers I need some privacy especially watching some video where there's swearing or something....
@Michael Palmer yea agree before this I use Bluetooth keyboard and its really sucks when play game its so delay and when I press a button once it registered 2 times but now I've got wired mechanical keyboard and its much better idk how long it will last cuz I got it like 15-20 bucks here on sale. Yea wireless is good for other use but when u gaming nah wired all the way....

I bought it at launch everything is great HOWEVER last night all of my Bluetooth controllers and usb c ones start acting weird they dont work correctly in games and in citra and dolphin i cant map the analog and the dpad they dont get recognized im not the only one some on reddit having this as well can you please confirm ?

You should definitely Present more Smartphones with Games and Emulator. However please show US how we can Transfer it to Monitor or smart TV. Via Cable or just streaming Lan.
