Hello, here is a tip as lax knitter. I say this because I notice older Knitters can be a little harsh yet not harsh. But anyway what I wanted to say row gauge is not as important as stitch gauge because you can knit more rows when needed because use measurements to get what is needed. You can also learn the math to use your own gauge to adapt a pattern to work for you. Example is when you have a gauge you like bit doesn't match pattern gauge you can calculate with your gauge to find similar number in the other sizes in a pattern and use the measurements of the size you want to create a piece that fit you. That is way gause and schematics/ measurements mentioned in most patterns are helpful. Really it just a learning curve to realize there is more than one way to do it. I hope you have fun experimenting and exploring knitting tips, techniques and patterns.
I started learning to knit way back in 2019 but it was way too frustrating so I quit. BUT thanks to you I'm learning to knit again and these videos are just great because it feels like I'm learning with a friend!

I’m so happy to hear that!! I feel you it’s veryyyy frustrating but all the pictures online of things people are knitting has really motivated me to learn!! We are definitely learning together one step at a time, we will be experts soon together for sure 😌💞💞💞
I'm knitter who just got into crocheting and I actually find knitting much easier tbh! Gauge is definitely more confusing on knitting and more important but the fact crochet doesn't usually need gauge made me confused!! To each their own 😂
