is the black boy Marcelino Sambé?? I saw him at the Tanzolymp Berlin and the Prix de Lausanne... he's so fantastic, and this boy looks a lot like him, maybe a little young?
dear c5869y I do not know whose version this is, I doubt it is Ashton's, as this is a very old ballet(1789) created in France by ballet master DAUBERVAL Bordeaux Opera, revised and restaged many times over the centuries, first danced by the Bolschoi in 18OO, Vienna 1809,Paris Opera around 1820, revised and restaged by many, including Petipa, danced by many famous such as Pavlova.... Etc etc, etc.
Please, does anyone know the name or composer of the piece of music used for the two girls in purple about 18 seconds into the video??? I am dying to use it for some choreography and it's not in any of the La Fille Mal Gardee music downloads!
This "Pas" n'appartienT ABSOLUMENT PAS à "La Fille Mal Gardée".
Ilya, your film making is fantastic. You seem to know exactly what to 'see' and your camerawork is never annoying. Thanks!

Check under La Fille Mal Gardee composer Ferdinand Herold.😊

Pugni's score I think, except for the Bizet at the end of of #4. Can't recognize any Herold.
looks like Fille but doesn't sound like it
