I love his videos, so cool and relaxed, and Steve seems like such a good and genuine guy, fun, informative, i feel his connection with his fans, its like you really know him, this part of his life, and the music in his videos is relaxing and everything is well put together, not cutted like most of the youtubers do, just right, Keep up the awesome job Steve. Shout out from Balkan.
Steve what shoes are you wearing! i love the look. And welcome back to the gym. Everyone is ready to be lead, taught and inspired for new things to come. Kill em Swoldier
Loving the kicks steve. Can you please upload soon an advance ab training video. I have begun cutting and looking for other forms of high volume, ab killing exercises. From one Swoldier to another, Happy New Year.
Just discovered you over the weekend!! Where have you been all my life?? Lol. You're a cool dude, and you trained with DLB!! BIG PLUS!! Love your hypertrophy vids!! 💜💜💜
Steve is soo lucky! He's got an amazing body He's good looking (Not saying this in a gay way) He does this for a living And his girlfriend is fucking gorgeous! Steve you are a hero to me!
done something similar to this today after seeing this video, 8 sets of 8 with 4 excercises..bent over row, underhand grip row, lat pulldown and underhand grip pulldown...great pump recommend you try this.
You always upload a certain body part after I do them lmfao. I just did back yesterday. Awhile ago I did shoulders before the day before the shoulders video. Same with the arms and chest. But amazing vid, as always brah
I like this style of routine. Seems to work well with my muscle type I suppose. I do 4 sets of 12 pull ups; 4 sets bodyweight pronate grip, 4 sets on the assist machine with wide grip... SLOW up & down. Also, I just change bars at the cable row machine; close grip then wide grip. All else is same.
Just did this workout (with some small changes), but holy hell it killed me. I liked it a lot, i was how this type or training would go on a leg day ? Ps. Could u post ur chest rooutine for this aswell ? Best videos out on utube for my taste by far !! Thanks
Hey Steve, Have you ever done a contest? because you should do one, and the prize would be one of those Bodybuliding, Team on, or if you have one The Swoldier T-shirts.
Steve cook.. i saw you in one of Shaytard's Videos "how to get rid of a cold" do you know em in person? its like an easter egg catching you in other channels!!
My chest is so tight that if I tried to pull that bar down behind my head... Well, I wouldn't be able to. I would hit myself in the top of the head (or my forehead) with the bar. Any advice?
I didn't get if when you do these hypertrophy trainings (Back, Chest, Arms and so on) you do every set to failure or not. I mean, do you use always the same weight for every set or you change it? Example: bench press 8 x 8, every set with the same weight?
Alessandro Vanzetti so the way German Volume Training works is like this: you generally pick 3 exercises per body part and perform an 8x8 or 10x10 rep scheme with each exercise. The weight remains the same for each set, but once you can successfully complete all reps and sets with that weight you add 5% the next week. And so on and so forth. Id actually recommend only doing this with chest, back, and legs as the program is really designed to help you on your compound lifts. With shoulders and arms stick to a more typical 8-12 rep range for 3-4 sets. Hope this helps brother!
I was taught that when you're walking or running, you want to land on the balls of your feet. That makes you use your calves as a sort of suspension. That's what I've been training myself to do. I noticed that you don't do that. Am I doing it wrong or are you?
I've heard a lot about lat pulls behind the head being dangerous/bad. I quit doing them after a couple of trainers said it's wiser to skip those. What's your opinion on behind the head lat pulls?
you get more of stretch when you pull down to the chest behind the neck barbell shoulder press i can understand as too far down and it can tear a rotatory cuff but iv never seen a problem with behind then neck lat pull down its a shorter range of motion but much more of squeeze on the back traps and romboids and traps and just the general back plus with pull to the chest it allows for much more momentum and cheating so id say just try them both and see what works for you i personally dont like lat pulldowns behind the neck as i cant get a full contraction if i pull down to the neck
Deadlifts are a great power and mass builder. But as he is training for a bodybuilding competition, his training is more centered around bringing out the definition in the muscle, which deadlifts are not ideal for.
Steve Cook comes across as one of the most genuinely nice people I've come across. A true idol.
