USA started off scrappy but came out in the second half as good as usual. Overall good game USA!

Australia deserved to win the first 45 minutes of the game, and they did. However, Soccer is a 90+ minutes game, and you have to play all 90 minutes hard. Australia couldn't sustain in the second half physically and spiritually.

I've never seen Christie Rampone or Pearce get outrun for a goal like that. She usually runs people down from behind. Looked real weird.
ive seen them start together for the Sounders Women.
They were more powerful on attack, they just couldn't finish. USA had the same problem with finishing. How many did Morgan botch? Alot. I just think Aussie gave them a damn good run for their money and were a tad unfortunate with the end score.
I agree, they are very rusty today. Australia played a way better first half, they just couldnt keep up with America in the second half. They should bring WPS back. a lot of more people watch it these days.

Got to say, impressed with the level of women's soccer. Love how they use the ball to travel the field by putting themselves into space, receiving and etc. Love this way of playing, very school yard style...shame mens soccer doesnt practice this style so much, more ego in men's soccer unfortunately

USA is rusty this women don't play for a while. and then they have to play this Games ,while most of this teams form France Australia Germany ,japan etc are always playing,is hard to play when u only practice one day...if they had a league they be sharp but despite all they are good.Morgan will have no missed those chances at Goal.with more practice.even hope look out of sync,she was sick anyway,
