I can't, for the life of me, figure out how audiotree mixes its low end and bass but whateevr they're doing, its MAGIC! The drum kick and bass is SO punchy and full and rich. Amazing.
@Audiotree: any tips on how you mix low end or how you measure it please? That would be gold information for us home mixers.

Hi! From our engineers:
Great question...
We compress the bass guitar and kick drum with SSL compression and EQ out all the muddy frequencies of the mid lows.
So on bass the EQ has a high pass at around 65hz, and a small bump at 100hz, then a small cut at 180hz, we add some harmonic distortion to the bass to bring out the notes in it.
The kick has a high pass at 45hz, then a small boost at 65-75hz, then a bunch of cut around 140-180hz, then adding some harmonic distortion.
