'Into the Void' was the only song on Psycho Circus the entire original band played-on. It's a kick-ass albeit underrated tune from the dysfunctional post-reunion days before the original band split for good.
@@raulrodriguez5073 What video did you see Paul and Gene Stan? Do you even know who Ace Frehley is? Ace has always had a sloppy Jimmy Page style from day one. They replaced Ace's original solo on the record and only Tommy Thayer copies Ace. Even Ace doesn't copy himself. This is called improvisation. This solo is better then the record. Go listen to the record if that's the way you like it 🤡.
@@MrRasnowman Nope, I'm stating the hard facts. The only reason Paul picked him as a guitarist is because he liked that style as per his own book. Try again clown. Modern KISS is Juggalo's for boomers.
@@mr.brenman2132 you are one hundred percent making excuses for bad playing. Go away man and grow up. Learn to play an instrument and take some pride in it. You have ZERO clue what you’re talking about: good lord.
I want Ace to “cover” this song on his next Origins Album, I don’t know if it’ll be as good as the Psycho Circus version, but I would love to hear him record all his songs just to see what he’d sound like without KISS’ crap thrown into it. I love KISS but I love Ace times 90
Wagner played an alternate solo on "Sweet Pain" (much inferior to Ace's - now available on the "Destroyer Ressurrected" CD) - and acoustic guitar on "Beth" - he may have added some fills to "Flaming Youth" but that is Ace's solo on the released track.
Dick Wagner worked out the studio version solo and a thing of beauty it proved to be. Its spacey bending in and out etc. Futuristic is how I would describe it. Apparently ACE failed to attend some of the recording sessions.
@James Lyfolly or just about any other interview or book documenting the recording of DESTROYER.... you are right, Sweet Pain and Beth were the only songs Wagner played on
@@andreamaltauroI’ve heard many stories about who played the lead in Flaming Youth. To be honest, I don’t believe for a second that Dick Wagner plays the main solo. They said he did some overdubs on the song and I think those parts are played at the beginning and the small solo part at the end. If you compare the tone and touch on those parts to Sweet Pain, which we all know he played on, it really sounds like Wagner. However, if you compare the middle solo to other lead parts in tracks like Shout it out loud and Detroit rock city you can clearly hear that it’s the same guitarplayer, namely Ace. It has his tone, his timing and melodic phrasing. Plus, Dick Wagner said that he never tried to imitate Ace. So in conclusion, I would be beyond shock if it wasn’t Ace. Not that I would care if it wasn’t Ace, but because it doesn’t sound like Wagner in the least.
That was a bad memory in Kisstory for him, I don’t blame him for butchering the vocals but the guitar playing is still as amazing as it was in 98. He can still belt it out and hit notes 4 nights a week and he doesn’t need backing tracks unlike Paul Stanley

a great song for sure...remembering playing this when I was young...go!Ace!
Notice how Ace nails the solo the way it should sound. No one can imitate the original Kiss sound that Ace can perform
leokimvideo what ?! What video did u see?!! NOTICE HOW SLOPPY THAT WAS?!

but Dick Wagner says he played the lead on Destroyer.

@@7777Scion let's not say useless nonsense !!! The solo on Flaming Youth is all and only by Dick Wagner !!!

I love Ace, Tommy plays great not his fault Ace didn't want to still be in Kiss..... until now anyway....
Go Ace Go!
Kills me that doesn't get all the vocals in, I wonder if this is due to carelessness, age, or trying to avoid copyright infringement.

Tommy can you hear me .>>
Screw you Ace. You brought all that in yourself.
Kiss is kiss....
funny better than tommy ever will be.....tommy hadt to learn ace everything again ...so
Sounds a lot like KISS
this is poor....its like he's not even trying... way to treat the few fans he has...what a waste...
phynigon well when paul and gene arent pushing him to be the best he can be he doesnt have reason or motivation i guess
He was still trying to be better at life, he may have butchered Into The Void but he can still nail the other songs without backing tracks
