Thank you so much for this video. We were unable to go to the Cutty Sark performance & we so wanted to see our youngest son - JD singing with the Fisherman's Friends and now we can!

Ruth Darley - You’re welcome Ruth, I’m pleased you found my video. My daughter requested I record a song because it’s the first time I’ve seen the FFs without her. She particularly wanted Strike The Bell, but I decided to continue recording the following one too, albeit I was unable to join in the actions. I “liked” The Longest Johns Facebook page, and watched some of their You Tube videos before seeing JD in Dorking, then the following week at The Cutty Sark. He did really well, I hope he enjoyed the mini tour with the FFs.

They've asked him to go on their Feb tour too & we hope to see them at Ascott under Wychwood.

Only noticed in Horsham (March 2019) there's an action for "run ashore". I see from this version Lefty hadn't sent the rest of the FFs the memo to join in with it too.

Sounds like the same tune as “Click goes the Shears “ an Australian song.

So it does. Which is the same as ”Ring The Bell, Watchman”.
