Eu lembro que eu tava super hypado pelo 21stCB, eu havia conhecido o Green Day de verdade pela era do American Idiot e já fazia anos que eles não lançavam nada novo, daí eu recebi essa demo e não entendi nada, mas eu lembro que tinha uma publicação no site The Nimrods (quem se lembra do The Nimrods? Aquilo foi a minha rede social por muito tempo!) onde havia uma matéria descrevendo canção por canção do álbum, e eles falavam sobre o quão épico era a primeira faixa e tals. Eu não acreditei! Esse piano no começo me deixou cético, pensei que meu amigo na época tava tirando onda mas conforme eu fui escutando a música, meu queixo simplesmente caiu!
eu lembro que eu baixava música pelo o Ares e essa demo brotou lá meses antes do lançamento oficial e eu fiquei feliz pra caramba com a volta do Green Day 😍

@@greendayplay it wasn't a leak, MTV used this version in Mexico until January 2010 with the video, then after a time they changed it to the album version, idk if something like that happened in the states since I used to live in mexico back then but yeah, this version was broadcasted for a couple of months in mexico, maybe latinoamerica.
@@OutFreak28 It was a leak, I remember it all too well. A fansite called "NimrodSt" (I think the name was), got a hold of the demo and posted it to the website, which they got some heat. I remember because GDA credited them as the original source, this version was never ever released.
I remember when this leaked. I was so excited for the album. And then I heard the album version and was so disappointed. Butch Vig is a great producer, incredible. But that album ended up with no soul.
This version seemed unfinished, and i kinda love the album version more, i wouldn't say it has "no soul," but that's your opinion, and that's fine Although i like the piano beginning more
