At 4:30 wouldn’t it be better to flame charge instead of fly as the whiscash was so low it would still take them out and give you a boost?
Dragonair has been my nightmare this season. I continuously bump into a team that must be popular this season which is Dragonair, Skarmory & Lanturn. I was using one of your recommended teams which was Whiscash, Skarmory & Gligar which just had ZERO win opportunities against this team (Whiscash in lead). I ran into it so often and lost every time that I started hard countering Dragonair in the lead and what do you know? I never saw this team…. Until I changed back to my old team and bam it’s back again. I swear GBL chooses opponents based on your lineup.
They do lol. I don’t think that’s debatable. Change your lead and you’ll see different Pokémon. If only we knew the odds of seeing certain Pokémon based on your lead 🤔

Real similar to my team, a bit more balanced as mine.
I play chesnaught lead, Talonflame sweep and s. Charizard as swap.
As your team is more balanced, with a s. Charizard you always lure out a talon flame, whiscash or Bastiodon (if it’s there).
And honestly, if the opponent swap 1 sek to late and try to farm down the s charizard with Lanturn or try to overfarm with whiscash they have to shield or lose switch. And Bastiodon kills s. So fast that you can farm with your lead Easy till it’s not worth for the opponent to swap out.
Biggest threat for me is dragonair lead, because they always double shield this, or altaria…
Anyway dragonair with 2 shields is way to strong in this meta… for next season I’ll built a team around ice. Tried this season with psychic based teams around, but only Deoxys really works and I predict wrong and expected more fighting mons since Medicham vanquish. Maybe a come back for s. Machamp? But the ape killed my thoughts😁

I was running a shadow Dragonair lead, shadow Whiscash swap, and a Charjabug in the back for spice
what is the ideal iv for dragonair? I have a shadow dragonair with high ranked IV by poke genie (attack nearly 0) and this one has absolutely no fast move pressure whatsoever. I was wondering if dragonair is better off with high attack stats.
I've gained 400 elo running Charjabug/Trev/Lanturn. SO many water/grass leads that Char can take care of. No one expects the second electric in the back. Talonflame lead can be tricky but doable. Any other fire lead though and it's instant top left. Mudbois are tricky but doable, unless if its Clodsire.

Hey I saw u use aquatail in some scenarios where body slam is also neutral. Isn’t body slam the same energy but more damage? Or did u do this to get more farm?
Body Slam is indeed the same amount of energy (35) and does more damage, don't go for Aqua Tail like Zyonik if both moves are neutral
on the battle at 21 minutes against lanturn lead, when u had 2 psycho boosts you shoulve used one, swapped to talon flame and saved it because of the de buff
Y do you use aqua tail instead of body slam in neutral situations? I think body slam is way better, btw ggs

@20:08 I think you would have won if you didn’t throw double psycho boost, but only threw one then swapped. Since there is the attack drop, I think holding back the 2nd move would have dealt more damage to the lanturn later and won you the battle. GGs anyway.

How long have you been playing? By the way I'm in the same boat and been playing about 5 months, this is my second season also. It's tough man, I do need to build better mons but I have so much to learn on counting and do a better job at fast move timing. Goodluck moving forward

Same question here! A lot of people said Hypno but it has no coverage against Steel and Rock (except with Focusblast) so I have no idea...

If it's rank 74 purified Sableye, it's highly unlikely you'll get a better one

I just built a shadow dragonair to use this team but i ran out of tms so i had dragon pulse & i used it on a lanturn to win the game it was fun🤣

I dont power up or use pokemon over rank 100, am i too picky with my IV choice? Still dont have some pokemon like shadow dragonaire due to the being picky

Nah man your good. I only use top 100 as well. It just drives me to hunt harder. Shadows come and go. It's all luck on when you'll get the lucky pvp shadow pokemon ivs. Only few mons where it doesn't matter is like d.d. lol
@dragunlundberg9582 I only power up good iv pvp pokemon. Its only a few pokemon the shadow is better than normal one

Since dd isn't tradeable, ivs truthfully don't matter all that much. It can be if you plan on using dust, you want too try and make the dust spent back on it by using it I'd say.

I mean, Zyonik doesn't always win lead though. It's about knowing the team and when to store energy and swap.
Just like other poster said this is strictly a showcase, in all reality it's about 50 50 on good lead or not
In the long run, this team works.
Mine is similar, more aggressive but not so balanced.
You get free wins with Bastiodon leads, you can play around bad Leads etc. … dragonair s. Is a beast with 2 shields, can beat most steels types if it wants.
Talonflame is such a good closer, with good bulk… there is no water quickmove in the meta right now.
Anyway over time you win more as you loose.
This team I better than mine, and I still reached legend with ~500fights in GL(and only GL this season) … and sure I had luck in the last 2 sets (which you always need, but had bad luck at expert 2745-> and I lost straight down to 2550… happens everyone)

Couldn't run this team. See Azu as 50% of leads if my team is remotely weak to it.
Azu lead is good for this team though, you get it out of the way early and talonflame sweeps their backline

D.D. Is a counter user, so personally, I'd suggest another counter user, the 2 that come to mind is annihilape or poliwrath, sure medi and vigo exist, but I do think medi has rly fallen off and vigo is better as a ss and not a lead.
