your coral one has imspired me to possibly do a jellyfish in space theme. I have been trying to figure out how to start my new journal since I missed starting it in June. It's my first more expensive journal so I wanted to really think out the starting themes.
A cherry theme would be so cool! However, I already started setting up for July and I'm going with a sunflower theme, as they are by far my favourite flower and since things are going rather poorly lately I needed a bright pick me up

Perfect timing again Jess. Koi is my theme for my next nujo, I will go back and practice along with your doodles again. I was proposed to during Shark Week! I used to watch every year. I had to pause the show as he was getting on his knee and I figured out what he was doing. He said he couldn't wait for another day. To be fair, he never said he was a romantic. 😂🤷♂ *If you are looking for inspiration for an eggplant...😂
Did you know that originally Alice's dress was yellow in the story? Also based on a dark haired girl, not the highly blonde one she turned out to be. When talking colors; I was really surprised at the aubergine/eggplant theme. I like it, but in my mind they are purple? I like all your suggestions though, although I miss the explanation for some why you have a theme suggested. For example (inter)national ....day
Technically I did go with a purple, just a darker rather than a brighter 😄 Cool that Alice's colours used to be different! We really just see a lot of her in blue now 👀
The white line in the coral theme looks like currents in the water, or a representation of the depth. Fun fact: did you know corals are animals? They are colonies of little polyps, and are closely related to anemones. They build coral reefs by leaving calcite "skeletons" as they grow.

Oh cool! I don't know a lot about ocean life (I'm lowkey scared of the ocean 😝) but they have some hella fascinating stuff going on down there!
