There is a dealer in my state (NH) that makes 1/10oz rounds 999 silver. He also makes rectangular 1/10oz barter bits of 999 silver. It’s all stamped 999, the rounds come in tubes, and the barter bits come in little canvas bags. They’re surprisingly affordable, with a reasonable premium.
Agreed, though I would add: once one stacked plenty, they can allocate maybe 5-10% of future purchases on ‘fun’ ones- though, this IS less efficient unless one is very knowledgeable on collector items. Yes, good point. But, it could come from hobby funds :) as it’s very fun- but you are correct.
There is a bullion dealer in my state (NH) that makes their own 999 1/10oz silver rounds. And they’re really affordable as well. Cheap compared to the ones here, but still 999.
@@yusefmessallam maybe some people just want alot of small pieces of shiny and play pirate treasure with it .....instead of maximising weight to fiat ratio
This video made the hair on my arms stand up. Since you treat your silver like this you might as well have just thrown them in a bucket of piss. It's an investment so respect it.
I have found my money goes further with fractional US Constitutional coins than the tenth ounce. Many of these are $10 each or more. Only on sale for about $6 or $8. The ratio to the price of an ounce of silver is about 40+%. Whereas the ratio for tenth ounce gold to one ounce gold is minimal.
I considered these when they were on sale did the math and at $49 an ounce passed. Went with 1 oz Britannias instead. Glad your happy they are cool thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the vid and the idea of these as gifts! In my business I am always looking for gifts to hand out to my clients and these rock for that purpose!!!
I wish I would have bought more of these from MF. I got 180 of them and regret not getting double that cause the price went up 1 buck right after I bought them last week. Plus I wish I would have got more to get the cool box. The packaging was taped well and yes the coins are pretty cool.
@@chadgriffey6796 what molds and where do you get them? I just got a furnace cause I have copper I want to make into bars. I would love to get silver and the right molds.

Yes, but very, very slowly. And you can clean them easily with bicarbonate of soda and hot water in an aluminium-foil lined bowl. Look it up. Easy peasy.
@@morganmaniac1364 Hello Morgan Maniac, that is an awful lot of nevers! Of course, you are quite right about certain classes of coins. (So, Dan, don't clean anything!). I would not attempt it on those classes of coins or bars, but I am happy to do it with battered old constitutional silver, a class which I collect because I can afford it, and because the reason I collect such coins is for the time when the S.h.t.f, when I may have to run, literally. I am old enough to know that people sewed silver and gold into their clothing when they had to flee for their lives, and I believe we may not be far from that horror again. In such cases, whether the silver is shiny or not is entirely beside the point. So I intend no fluttering in the stacking dovecotes. But listen to what the Silver Slayer says at 9.25 onwards, where he is almost swimming in it. Lovely stuff. (But the foil and baking soda method does work like a dream on silver jewellery and flatware!) But I promise, if I ever get my hands on a Morgan Dollar (not easy where I live), I will keep it good and dirty. Maybe. Blessings.
Those are cool. I picked up some Armenian Noah's Ark 1/4 ounce coins for a song and dance and they are gorgeous. I have the ultimate fractional silver in the silver crystal I have grown in my silver cell. I can weigh out any weight of pure 9999, yes four nines fine pure silver crystals. Watching it grow in the cell is just amazing. I do have 90% and other types of fractional too, but having the crystal to make any weight is nice.
I'm based in the UK and we have quite a few online dealers that sell these useful coins. I've had my eye on them for quite a while; just comparing online prices at present. As you alluded to their are the nearest legal tender coins we have to dimes in the UK. Bonus is they are .999 fine silver! Definitely a common sense option for barter.
The premiums on them over here ontop of the VAT makes them way to expensive for me. I bought some 1/4oz Brits in bulk years ago but I got a reasonable deal on them.

The premiums must be astronomical .
Nice looking coins. The premiums are way too high! 90% is for stackers these are for collecting.
No, those are for bartering when the United States fiat currency crashes...
They are very expensive in compare for an 1 ounce bullion. Not recommend to buy it. You pay a hefti premium for it.

Exactly I think this is bad recommendation

why spend nearly twice spot for fractional foreign silver when you can buy silver dimes all day for spot??

Good idea for the Britannias
I might buy a few fractionals depending on the coin (like my gold roosters) ..... but junk silver is the best "fractional".
So cool I got 1/10 GSM buffalos x100 on the last dip. 999 looks so much better than 90%
Wow. I like those.
Their packages also come I with a non-eyebrow-raising shipping return name and address as to not give any idea of the package contents
I am an American Eagle guy, but these are cool.

I have a tube of 1/2 oz Scottsdale Lions I like to play with every so often.
Those are beautiful- probably my very favorite, and it seems they are yours, too. I don’t own any but am a fan from afar!

I don't buy fractonal..it is not hard to melt rounds and pour in marked molds cheap easy and marked way less premium and fun and authentic

Awesome!
Those are super cute!!!!
I almost want to eat them!😂

If you open the containers and pour the coins into a box, won't they tarnish and turn gray?

Very cool rounds. I dont have any fractional rounds
Nice coins
Don’t get me wrong, they are cool. At the rate of $50 an ounce I wonder if you are actually expecting them to hold value?
Pretty cool 😎

cool stuff... love how pretty they are and soooo tiny! so cute

Wait until he sees the 1/10 gold maples.
Hey Slayer, send me tube of those fractional and I'll send two tubes back! 😂
Take some of your commission's earnings from selling P.M'S and purchase a decent pocket knife !

Slayer I have an idea, send me a box of silver and I will do an unboxing.... lol
Just bought some (not from MF, though). They are nice.
