How To: Double Stockinette

Double stockinette is a technique that creates two layers of yarn, for a professional and neat-looking finish. Unlike stockinette, where one side has V-shaped stitches and the other side is garter stitch, double stockinette has V-shaped stitches on both sides, making it perfect for reversible knit projects or projects where both sides are visible.
To knit in double stockinette:
1. Cast on an even number of stitch.
2. For all rows:
- Knit 1 stitch
- Slip yarn as if to purl
Repeat until the end of the row.

how do you double stockinette stitch in the round? Do you have to keep going back and forth or do you knit on top of the knit stitches and same with the other stitch
