Maybe find a way to use that cargo net across the back of the van inside the hatch door. Hang it vertically instead of horizontally. Could also work as bug screen if you can hang it back there.
I'm full-time nomadic 4 yrs now. I just love gadgets. I'm in a 99 E-150 & I've changed it about 3 or 4 times, with my bed never moving. I have 2 toy terriers. Tyvm, for sharing your very helpful gagets. I do cook in my van, windows open, a wind protector around my alcohol stove inside. Ez clean up with vinegar and water mixture.
I’m so glad to see the bug netting for the slider door! I’ve been waiting for something to replace the awkward gutter guard that wasn’t quite long enough for my sienna window. Thanks for showing us these gadgets.
I’ve tried a few window mesh covers and none fit quite right so I’m going to get these. The table is just the right size so I’ll get that as well. You asked for a video idea, how about organization ideas?. I don’t know how or why but at bedtime when inside the van for the night, I had a hard time finding things and it quickly became a huge mess. It’s so small inside. I thought I had a good plan to have everything I needed at my fingertips but somehow it didn’t work out.
Same ride.. love all that you do man! I do miss my bed lower. I'm toying with taking out the frame again and going foam mattress-to-floor. However it is doubling as a work vehicle right now so not quite ready to have my bed closer to grime and random instruments. trying to find the perfect balance. One of these days we're going to have to rally the camp crew and feast!
Great info. I really find your vids informative and easy to follow. Are you sitting in the rear stowed seat in this one? I think you addressed that in one of your earliest no-builds. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am sitting in the back single side of the third row seats. I completely removed the other side and have storage containers behind the third row area.
To be honest really don’t like those tables. Putting one on the bed and working sideways is uncomfortable. I use instead a large top projection table. It comes apart faster and you can swivel the top plus not only sturdier than those aluminum tables can adjust height fast. And cargo nets… put stuff in them and take away head room. I’ve learned a lot of tricks as car camping off and on for around 40 years. The window mesh though is a winner. I also have a magnetic version for my sun roof.

That is an interesting idea. Thanks for sharing it.

@@starbubbli that’s awesome! I’m glad that you are enjoying your experience. Does your van have a sliding door, or barn doors? Thanks for visiting.
@AdventureGearTV barn doors on side and back . Blessings & peace..

@@StillLifeOutdoors I’m surprised how good these were. Thanks for visiting again!
I store my window covers in my mesh bag on the roof. It’s perfect to get them put together in on place.
I like the ceiling cargo net!😎👍
Awesome Tim. Thanks for visiting!
I have that table and I love it!
Awesome! Glad it’s working well for you.

By the way, The mesh on top would be a good organization tool except for tall people. I’m going to pass on that one.
1:36 I hit the thumbs up and I’m one of them folks. I like how it’s got the leg extensions.

I feel you, that balance is tough. Mine doubles up as well but it’s the perfect place to get out to during breaks.

A great group of items.
Would love to see a video on Gladiator vs minivan camping and why you transitioned from the former to the latter.
It’s definitely something I could put together. I have a LOT of thoughts on the topic.
This would be a great topic! I remember watching you when you first had your 2WD when it was off grid adventures!
0:51 I may need that portable foldable table for my hot tent Camping Adventure ‘s so could this be a multi used table?
What size cover did you get for the back side windows? I have a Sienna, too.
Hi, I don’t recall exactly but I got the larger version of the one at the link I shared in the video description.
@ thanks for a quick response.
Love the subscribe ASCII art in the description. That's old school. 👍
Tried the cargo net inside to store lightweight window😊 shades and hated getting hit in the head when sitting on bed. Epic fail for me.
That’s my thought about it. I’m hesitant to give up headspace for storage.
Just set up my cargo net for window covers too. They slid off and fell in my lap on the first hard stop. Glad I’m not alone.
Thank you for all your great videos. Do you drive an AWD sienna? Curious what your average mpg is?
It is AWD and it seems to get around 20 mpg even. My prior FWD got around 22. So a little bit of a penalty for the more capability.
Thank you, those screens look good. But what do you do if it’s raining and you need to crack the windows open for ventilation?
Rain guard side window vents.
Not as much air but no rain. Also very stealthy.
Do the screens just go over the weather guards?@@baskervillebee6097
