Ann Margaret deserves a lot of respect from Elvis' fans because her love and care for Elvis is so genuine and sincerely. She's probably the only woman, besides Elvis' mother, who never tried to make a dollar from her relationship with Elvis. She remains a true friend of Elvis even after his death and was always ready to defend Elvis in face of criticism against him.
Ann is taking a lot of the details of their relationship to her grave and thank goodness for that. I'd bet she's one of a handful of people who treated him well from beginning to end. If there was ever a love story to deserve a happy ending it was this one. Maybe they'll meet again in the afterlife.
