Prefer fixer uppers honestly, I prefer split systems over central ac units as an example. But love the peacefulness of those areas.
Fixer uppers are great for making your own. What’s your reason for liking split systems over central AC?
@Angie M. Blanco energy efficiency. I worked as a hvac technician and see how this uses less energy as it only cool/heat in what ever zone your in instead of the entire place. And most modern units like Mitsubishi has sensors to detect the amount of load there is to see if it needs more or less. And lots more.

I love Florida, but one thing that kinda throws me off is that Florida houses are so dense to each other, it’s weird. I come from Texas, so I’m not used to that. Not sure if I want to get a Miami house in the future, but for now, an apartment will definitely suffice, especially since I’ll be living on my own for the first time ever.
Yes, in some areas homes are closer together, but in others (like here in Palmetto Bay), they're typically a little more spread out. Very excited for your new beginnings!

How hard is to find apartment for rent ? Im going to move to Miami at the end of the year from my country, how hard is if new in the city and without credit
Hi Francisco, credit is one of the standard requirements to rent here. If you don't have credit, you may still be able to find something, but it might be a little more challenging

@@DavidDiaz-de2qf Miami is simply an international hub. So much to do, so many connections to be made, there's also city and more rural, the list doesn't stop. It may not be for everyone though, if that's not what they're interested in.
Yea not for me I lived there for 2 years and I left.
Are these houses hurricanes proof?
Most homes have some kind of hurricane protection with either shutters or impact rated windows and doors

You're from Miami, tell me about your experience with hurricanes and what advice would you give to someone who is interested in moving to Miami permanently but he has some kind of skepectcism regarding hurricanes?
@@rogersampaio7450 I’ve experienced hurricanes all my life! So, to be honest, although they can be disastrous, at this point, they don’t phase me much. I’ve been through so many that have just blown over that I’m not too concerned. Precautions we can take are to have impact rated doors and windows, or some kind of window shutters/panels, flood insurance (if you’re in a flood zone), and a good home generator for if you lose power
